Well neuroshima hex is best for 1v1 games. In those games you can predict when your opponent wont use combat and how many combat hexes he still have in his deck.

I wonder why the previous version is described in the video. Last year, the game had a completely new release with new graphics and design plus some more optional rules which combat luck factor that (may) be perceived as something nerve-racking. Check the newest edition. Didn't like the first editions, due to the graphics, but bought this one and like it alot.
