You honestly will not find a better pils for the price point. Incredible really! I love paying whatever price for good beer and stouts but always happy to pick these up from time to time.

Bought a box of 20 of these a.few weeks ago in they were on a trolley when they were putting stock out. Always have some in the fridge and buy a box because I live in wales near the boarder so whenever I hop into England I pick up a load for 99p instead of £1.20 (minimum unit pricing) to save a a little. My favourites I get the bottles.

s125ish definitely worth a buy. For me it’s a no messing about pilsner it’s not a world beater but I think it’s better than the large mass produced Carling, fosters and the others. I have bought plenty at £1.20 in my local Aldi but we like a little saving over the boarder when I can. My go to For a Session or BBQ definitely had a few nights when I over done it. Don’t expect it to be a £4 craft beer chill it down and you can’t go wrong.

99p for a 500ml Bottle... I remember paying £1.20 for a bottle Of Lamot Pils Back in the Acid House days of 1988. We're lucky to have so much choice these days. The year 2020 truly is a Summer of Love for Pilsners. Good Review Ace Face.

Great review Mark, I stopped buying Fosters etc ever since I discovered bottles of supermarket beer at no more than one pound a pop & the taste is better I think, I really like this drink, it is now one of my permanent stocked beers at no more than £1 a bottle, I have this, Perlenbacher and Bavaria, ten bottles of each for no more than £30 what can I say but happy days, and nights!

The Bier Hooligan looks like I will be having a trip to Aldi for it. He kept asking me about the duvel barrel aged and said he wanted to try it. He took one sniff and just looked at me and said Na that’s not for me 😂

@@TheBierHooligan I will also add that both beers taste as good in cans as well keep up the good work there is no beer snobbery here we have high end mid range and low range is it pure coincidence that both German discounters can make beer that is x50 that mass produced lagers we make

Aldi you can get some beer from East Germany that Bitburger owns. Wernesgruner. It is less than 7 bucks a sixer but have never had it. Trader Joe’s, an Aldi company sells orange boom and Peters Dutch beers made in Germany for 6.69 a six pack .5 cans.

The Bier Hooligan nah, it is just that it is interesting how companies treat markets differently. I have heard good thing about Wernesgruner.

It's a corker of a beer, often buy it when in ALDI. The Rheinbacher Weiss is good too. ALDI have always had good German Brews, they used to sell Wernesgruner Pils, brewed in Berlin, Sadly that has long since been discontinued. Which was a great shame as it's a fantastic beer. Wernesgruner is however in stock at Beers of Europe, and well worth checking out.

Good review Mark. This is my favourite supermarket beer. Even cheaper if you buy a 4 pack (500 ml cans) at £2.99 . Only 75p a can. I buy a pack every weekend as my staple plus odd bottles of new beers. Proper German pilsner in accordance with Reinheitsgebot laws

The Bier Hooligan of course I live in Scotland! There’s minimum pricing per unit of alcohol so that explains the price difference.
