Fun video ;) I really liked 7:44 I just love old junk like this when it's thrown together. And it gave me a chance to see some of the grain details in the bnw you used. I like it a lot and it kinda reminds me similarly to how I edit my bnw which is close to Delta 100. As for the cameras, ya I would have bought one of those weird ones as just a prop or set piece.

Thanks Alex, there was a huge amount of such piles of junk. 😅 yes i switched off the fuji grain and used the silver realm from capture one. just looks a lot more authentic. My wife and I are minimalists so buying something as decoration is difficult when it has no function.

I'm super impressed at how unbelievably clean the cameras are, and the fact that most of them are inside leather cases! I have a rule of staying away from flea markets simply because I'm a chronic hoarder 🤣

Yeah they are super clean most of the time because they are in their cases. 😀 The Pentax Me was like new. I just have the rule to not buy electronic camers 😅 Yeah your shelf is already full so no new old cameras for you 😆

thank you, Yes the mannequin was totally creepy. The whole praktikas and Exaktas are East German cameras that you can always find here. 😀

Very interesting market. I like the shots with the bicycles in and the one at 10.28 has some nice baskets in as well :) Interesting old cameras too. My father used a Braun Paxina roll film camera from the fifties right up until the late 70's. I have a Smena 8m with a roll of Agfa APX on the go right now - all manual and very tricky.

Those waffles were BIG but they sure looked good. I have a Canon 10s and really like it. It is actually a backup camera for my Canon A2e. I agree that electronics in used cameras can be a real problem. I have a Mamiya 645 that has an electronic shutter issue. That is now a parts camera and I have another that works (so far). I got the Rb67 rather than the RZ67 so that I would NOT have electronic stuff. However, I got both the canon 10s and A2E new and have just held on to them as I shifted to digital. So, I know that they are well taken care of. A canon 10s can be had for almost nothing and does a nice job. But, on the whole I agree with you about electronic film cameras.

Beriette VSN was my first camera that my dad bought me. It teached me good to assess distance. And I used that thing till it fell apart... EOS 30 is a really good camera for what it is, I dare to say best value for the money, and as idiot that I am, I sold it. And of course, like for the dogo picture 🐶

Actually, when I'm out on a fleamarket, I'm primarily looking for those "boring" medium format cameras. Balda, btw, is not a russian brand, they were made near Dresden, Germany.

well i should have been boringly less sweeping. DIe cameras asing good especially the voigtländer. unfortunately most are in miserable condition and not great models. Balda is of course not a russian brand. i made a mistake. 😃

yeah there are a lot of rules around this topic but everything streetphotography related is kind of a grey zone. In this case everyone has a mask on so nobody coud be idetified. In other cases it falls under freedom of art and documentation. I hope that answers your question. 😀
