Goddamn you and me BOTH!!! I’m actually making a weird ass youtube series of MY OWN now! And regardless of if its my usual comedy preference or the hauntingly deep parts (I can only write comedy and the most horrific dark shit. Theres NO in between 🤣) writing is much harder in practice. Takes me unreasonably long to get my thoughts out in the perfect phrasing. Ironically Natsuki is actually going to be in mine TOO during season 2 because this series inspires me 😂 Scripting a show is fairly difficult in practice. Even if its in a strange format that uses various old toys and plushies combined with video editing lol

Natsuki is the type to not go to people with her problems because she finds it embarressing just like Sayori, so she kept refusing eating much with Mc (us) to not show weakness.

Mc being an idiot is the case in every route. in the sayori route while he is understanding, he ends up being accidentally insensitive. in the natsuki route, he's a bit confrontational and forward, while also being a bit ignorant. in the Yuri route, he's batsh*t crazy and a masochist who likes getting stabbed and thinks he can fix a mentally deranged woman. and in the monika route, he's an empty shell.

dude... some wholesome moments did happen. the problem with the fanbase is they often struggle in balancing the psychological horror and extreme mviolence with the wholesome. the bike does that and more. my favorite video is "the world's full of crazy people" as it covers how the extreme violence plays into the comedy that DDLC is known to have at times, while also touching base with a community via a good reference to Deus Ex.

This was traumatic as fuck. I'm honestly not sure if I enjoyed it. Is it so wrong to want soft, wholesome warmth? Or to just be able to have fun and communicate? I was hoping this story would be a little kinder. Maybe with Natsuki and the MC going out and enjoying life together. Maybe resolving some of the Sayori drama in a way that wasn't so harsh. As I watched more, though, I just realized it was getting worse and worse. If it were me in the MC's shoes, I genuinely don't know if I would have stuck around as long as the MC did, simply because it's ALL drama. The entire story was drama and trauma and... it was heartbreaking. Being with someone who can't live without you sounds absolutely nightmarish. You have to learn how to live with and love yourself before you can love others. Anyway. Overall, 8/10. Great writing, definitely a story that holds up and isn't too terribly insane, but it wasn't to my taste. I see why other people might like it, though. Good job!

Bike, you are a fantastic writer. Seriously consider writing up a story with OCs and finding a publisher. I have never hated a character more in my life than I hate Natsuki here. I'm pretty good at separating my emotions knowing when something is fiction, but this story, especially the final hospital arc made me seeth with rage. I actually had to do some breathing exercises to calm down. You got a reaction out of me that no other fiction writer has. I wanted to drop this multiple times due to how much I hated Natsuki, but couldn't because the writing was that good. The way she goes along with wanting to try what the MC wants and then gaslighting him about it later and the extremes she went to made her absolutely vile. Bravo. You captured the most toxic relationship things perfectly. To save the MC stress, Monika should have gone all the way back to the beginning so he could pick Sayori. It was a bit unclear at first if the Soul stuff was supernatural or the MC hallucinating until the part with Yuri where I guess it is real. It was the only part that I felt was out of place other than how morbid the part was where the MC grew teeth and started ripping things apart. I actually said out loud: "What the fuck am I reading?" I found the original DDLC tame in comparison to this.

I don't know if we're supposed to side with this Natsuki because, like... she gets all that she wants in the ending, and the story constantly treats her as right up until the low point. It'd be more interesting if he left natsuki for good in the ending, after saving her, and him doing something like that for her to save her no matter how bad what she did, would make her go try to improve herself on her own and fix her life. But instead she just got everything she asked for outside of an argument with MC.

What a story. Never have I’ve been so interested and so immersed on a story, let alone an original ddlc mod story. Believe it or not, I’ve came across your channel right when I started to get interested on ddlc. And I clearly remember that while I was almost half way thru the base game, I saw your channel, and I saw this, the first ever episode of a month with natsuki, I think it was called “ a pleasant chat with natsuki’s father” or something. But this was years ago, right when you drop the episode I believe. But I’m going to be honest, I forgot about this channel, this story, and I’ll be honest, I would’ve never seen the end of this story if it didn’t showed up in my recommended. But nonetheless, I’m glad that I’ve stumbled once again to this story. Like I’ve said before, I’ve never been so intrigued, impressed, and so immersed on a story. This story is so good that I could rewatch it again, heck maybe rewatch it every year. It’s a shame that I can’t superchat you money, because you deserve it. I really want to support you in some way, maybe in the future. But nonetheless, congrats on finishing this story, I’m sure it wasn’t easy finish a story with great storyline. Watching the whole thing made me think of so much scenarios that could’ve gone wrong right. There were funny moments, moments I thought were sad and moments that I felt like it was real (in my opinion). Well, I finally finished it. I may not have finished it during the primere, but it was well worth it seeing it through the end. I'm gonna say a few things, feel free to read along if you wish. I've been watching Bike's videos for a long time now, and the stuff I've seen him do in his mods, they're insanely creative. Good lord, he can think of a story and make it to a full-on series, like this one. Watching this 13+ hour video reminded me why I even started to watch Bike's videos. The reasons being that nothing always starts off happy or ends off happy. Bike has even showed us... A LOT of gory stuff. It is a little disturbing, but be that as it may, that's how DDLC has been back when it came out. It's a literal horror game. Bike has made that clear to us, a bunch of times. Not to mention, he has even shown us that life can be hard, and you need to work hard for the things you love. Even when you don't have the time to show your significant other that you still love them, you should still at least try to show some effort. Thank you bike, for all the laughs and scares you've brought upon us with this game. I hope to see more of your wild but spectacular creations. ~ Cosmo
