Definitely someone who remembered his dreams vividly and had immense talent to recreate. My favourite artist

@@theGENIUSofART-understood I don't remember if they gave the names but it was in a book published a few years ago; The Shameful Life of Salvador Dalí by Ian Gibson. Some pretty sordid things in there with odd group sex and such. Never saw any lawsuits so I'm guessing it was true. Gala had her odd reputation too. One of the saddest things is at the end after Dali died and his longtime housekeeper said. he didn't get one paseta in his Will he said, "Senor Dali never loved anyone."

@ yeah that's a really unseen side of him. tbh there's so so much material it's a lot to handle. I will have a proper read of that book.

The rumor is in his last few years he couldn't move. His wife had paintings done by assistants and he would sign them. She sold 3 paintings a day at $25K each. I believe she found quite a few "hidden away" years after his death.

@@thomcarr7021 THE BOOK ABOUT HIM SAID DALI MET WITH THESE TWO ARTISTS AND DECIDED WHAT THE SUBJECTS WERE, AND MOST PEOPLE KNOW BY NOW ABOUT THE STACKS OF PRESIGNED BLANK PAPERS TO BE MADE INTO LITHOGRAPHS TO SELL THAT COPS DISCOVERED; WHY MANY PRINTS ARE NOT NOW CONSIDERED AS VALUABLE AS THEY MIGHT BE. THE BOOK IS The Shameful Life Of Salvador Dali Gibson, Ian....sorry my cap lock got stuck

Right. it's an important point. There are actually so so many things to dig into with dali that an overview can't catch. a video on his sexuality is forthcoming. at the moment i'm writing about the persistence of memory. i found an incredible explanation of it by dali that everyone ignores! btw. i have a question. do you think there is interest in proper scholarship? i ask because i found that great art explained, you know the channel, has so so so many errors and misrepresented things in it. i want to do a debunking type video. does anyone care or is this youtube stuff just entertainment??

Interesting. It's based on AI though I've edited it and it's certainly not nonsense. What part exactly do you think is nonsense?
