I remember Wu, he won the Word Championship aged 16 years in Taiwan with a very dramatic exciting finished for the last few frames
@RichardsWorld6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, he used to break much better also.

I remember the Taiwanese guy when he was 16 and won the World 9-Ball championship in 2005. Now he is all grown up. He used to slam the break 2 times harder when he was 16 though.
@notatroll76806 жыл бұрын
I think its cause he is using a different break compared to the WPA World 9ball Championship where he was striking the 1 ball square and trying to stop the ball by using top spin. In this tournament he is using the cut break, where he strikes the 1 ball off centre but still bouncing the white off the cushion into centre table

They are using the magic rack nowdays you dont have to slam the break to get a ball in, the corner ball goes in 90% of the time.

It annoys me that his cue case is blocking the score screen.
@AlexZander6886 жыл бұрын
Or maybe the tournament directors should not place the score screen behind a table where the players put their cues and cases. That area is the players equipment area.

@@AlexZander688 true. All of the other battles I have seen from China Open was totally without this problem. So it might just have been an brain fart from the decorating team

The scoreboard should be placed in the middle.

Ignorant crowd clapping on the sloppy 3-ball in the side. Do not clap on a shot like that, the player was not even attempting that shot. He was trying to make it in the corner and play cue ball off the eight for position on the 5-ball.
@theshade10006 жыл бұрын
i guess they're clapping not so much for the shot but for the man himself... some signs of favouritism. they did applaud niels as well; but you're right, they didn't even acknowledge that beautiful shot from the 2 to the 3 behind the 5 around the 9th minute. beauty of a shot. dead silence.
@ronaldchan20006 жыл бұрын
@@theshade1000 That's not true. Feijen played some fantastic pool (especially the frame he tied it at 5:5) and the audience clapped a lot for him. In terms of favoritism, it's not even close to the Mosconi Cup.
