The disco light show is irritating but not as much as the distorted "funnel" view of the table. That could be fixed but you see it all the time from the China venues.

Didn't like the decision to kick from the long rail side at 9-9 after the break. Shane has been making curious decisions in these not straight forward situations the last few years. It's like they're frustration decisions. I bet he'll be practicing rail first shots for two days straight now.
@adimz5 жыл бұрын
He was probably trying to hit the one ball full and stop it there, sending the one two cushions down behind the 7 and 9 blocking with mostly the 8 ball. because then the side pocket and the two ball leave a very hard kick, which would give him a free ball and let him run out.
@gambloduck66335 жыл бұрын
@@adimz Honestly thought it was a very makeable kick going to the opposite side with right English and possibly getting safe up table if he hits it fat off two rails. I keep thinking of him in the Andy Mercer Memorial (Rum Runner Tavern in Vegas), and, his decision hill-hill Vs Vilmos Foldes, where he decide not to play shape for an easy bar table side pocket bank. Instead he opted for a soft draw stop, attempting to barely pass another ball and still needing to cheat the pocket? It's not that he's missing simple shots. He has recently been putting himself in spots to have to hit "Efren style" strokes, and that's not his game. Wanted him to win.
@adimz5 жыл бұрын
@@gambloduck6633 I get what you're saying. I think he's going through some personal stuff these days. Slowly see the love for the game leaving his eyes and his stroke. I think he just needs to take the winter off and do some good old ice fishing and relax.
@adimz5 жыл бұрын
@@gambloduck6633 And SVB always has a hard time in China, the tables and cloth are a lot different. (I live here and play regularly, especially on their "JOY" brand table. The corners are rounded which makes them a lot more difficult, but also makes the middle pockets easier. Basically it's next level difficulty to cheat the pockets here, you'll miss 2 out of every 3 tries cheating these pockets. That's why you see most Chinese players feather the ball in and slow roll and not go so much for position, but rather just "sight" of the next ball

A lot of professional players like Wu prefers a non-carbon shaft. Personal choice. And they think they can play better with their selected shafts

@@luckyduckimona9787 you do understand that they are just historically not a land for immigrants, it's a communist nation that historically was an empire so immigrants didn't want to go there. China still is how it is due to culture and people preferring to visit but not stay there they also charge countries like the USA double for a Visa cause they owe them so much money. Instead of being snarky and thinking that they're so much better staying one race, accept diversity and the benefits of it.
