David Lanz plays in the back of my mind whenever I'm having a wonderful day... hiking in the forest, out on a friend's sailboat, skating on back roads, skiing at night, watching my great-grandbrats chasing fireflies in the yard at dusk. His music accompanies all that's good in the world!

Thank you so much for this. I grew up in the 80s and 90s listening to all of David Lanz's music. I loved it so much it inspired me to learn how to play the piano. When I finally started learning the piano I couldn't find the music sheet for my favorite song, Cristofori's Dream, so I e-mail David asking if he knew where I could purchase it. Instead he asked for my mailing address (though I live all the way in Spain) and sent me an autographed copy himself, for free. He is one of the most wonderful people on this planet.

We own a Jewett parlor grand built in 1892. My wife's grandmother lived in New York city in the in early 1900's. She saved the piano from a bar that had it painted it red... Her grandmother had it refinished back to it's original finish. It is a beautiful antique that still sounds great. We have no idea what it is worth but when we have it tuned every year the piano tuner says he could get 6 figures for it as the keys are ivory. My wife of 43 years still plays several David Lanz pieces but her favorite is Mozart's Turkish March...
