Sayed sir told "1000 Sal hum is khite pe hukumat kye". This " hum" does not include Pakistan people. Hukumat was done by Afghanis, Turks and Mongols. A little reference to history will clarify this point.

Industrialization needs lot of resources, material & human capital, west got it very cheap from asia and africa during colonization , even now they are getting it cheap may not be very cheap..!!!

By stealing plans and parts to become nuclear devices is no big deal. US did it with indigenous technology and knowhow in the 1945. We do not have the ability to develop it further. No industrial or technical knowhow or ability to support development.

I think entrepreneurial success stories must be taught at schools to produce entrepreneurs in Pakistan. One eterprenuer creates ten jobs. If society is fully employed, society can survive peacefully whether religious or non-religious does not matter. There will be children and elderly in society could be supported by state taxes if society is fully employed. There should be systems and laws to identify and punish persons living beyond means. School teachers should be trained properly and syllabus of schools should be set by intellectuals who are social sciences experts. Schools syllabus should be updated every five years. Parents committees must be formed to voice criticism on school syllabus and teaching systems.

Great presentation. But very selective use of example countries. Fundamentally, distortion of history to make points. For example, British had very developed and methodical structure and mechanism of exploiting native resources to benefit Britain, while Portugal didn’t have any of those mechanism. …China was also colonized by Japanese. British also ruled China in a very shameful way: by making Chinese Opium addict and Chinese incapable for productive use.

Please study history. British never “ruled” China. Their influence was limited to few tiny regions (or cities). British East India company was asking Chinese government to balance the trade deficit (just what USA is asking China today). Yes China back then built a huge reserve by exporting to the west but limiting the imports. Back then Opium (product of British India) was the main commodity that chinese bought. When Chinese banned even that last of the imports, East India company forced the Chinese government to open its market.

Britain did not make Chinese into opium adicts, Arabs were selling opium to China already from the 8th Century.British exploitation of resources is a myth, the British actually lost money on colonies.
