I know it's been four years but...rest in peace Sam! I lost my mother to cancer two years before you passed (I was 21), and knowing you had a very young child...I can't imagine how hard it must have been for your family! The only "good" thing is that your child will have been too young to realise the gravity of the situation... Thank you Sam, for all the joy you brought us as a failed but deeply sympathetic lawyer in Scrubs, and as a very talented singer with a lovely voice in real life. I'll always miss you, and I often think about your family, I hope they're doing alright, and I don't like to swear but seriously...f*ck cancer! Thank you Sam, maybe one day we'll meet in person, in the great, far-away eternity!

I'm sitting here at 1am at my parents place in Stuttgart, Germany. I'm 28 years old and have been studying for ever, finished with a masters degree and worked for a year but now realized I have a major crisis in my life and need to take a break. I will go backpacking for the next 6 weeks, starting tomorrow. It's a crazy time of my life, it's Corona and everything is a little scary and a little exciting. So I just sit here in my fucking old childrens room where I moved back in the past weeks and I got this song recommended. I love Outkast and I love Scrubs. This just brought me to tears and it made me realize life is just a fucking amazing, weird, scary, horrible, beautiful trip and we are here to experience everything of it. This life is crazy. This song is fucking beautiful. Thanks for reading, whoever you are, this comes from the bottom of my heart. Take care, and take a risk from time to time in life or you will die internally. Peace, Aron.

First time I saw this vid was, of course, when I saw the episode. I thought it was such a feel good happy song. Never thought it would turn out to be like this, a nostalgic sad song. RIP love you guys.

Damn ... this song just fits. Rest in Paradise, Sam. Rewatching Scrubs all over again and it just brought back all the memories of the hard times you helped me get through my time in the Marines. Thank you.

The vacation episodes of Scrubs were my two favorite episodes. This song was awesome at the wedding!

Sky I know, it was a great two episodes, and you already felt that things were being wrapped up and things coming to an end, which made it kind of bitter-sweet. I guess that bitter-sweet part just made this song an even more perfect fit.
