This dear old man who now has Alzheimer's obviously had a lovely family home at one point with a lovely play area for his children & grandchildren. Makes me wonder why they hadn't stepped up to keep up "dad's" home for him? But thankfully you & your boys stepped up. I wish you all the best. You certainly are teaching your sons community values and this is so important. God Bless!

Great job! Way to go Judah for finishing! I prefer not too much of shrubbery and trees in my yard. Vegetation is super destructive on houses and it’s easy to get out of control. I’m 67 and really enjoy taking care of the yard but I try to be mindful of what I will be able to do in 5 or 10 years. . I do the mowing, weed whacking, blowing myself. Spent two hours earlier today getting up leaves. I thoroughly enjoy your channel and hats off to you and your wife for teaching your boys values that count! ❤❤

It looked like Judah was frustrated that he couldn't handle some of the trees/brush. He should remember (or have it mentioned to him) that he's doing more than he did last year, and next year he'll be able to do more than he is doing this year. Eventually he will be able to do 'Dad' sized jobs. Even his brothers once were at his current level, and see how far they've gotten now. "Keep on truckin' " and you'll succeed, Judah.

I, personally, think a back yard looks great with a few big trees but not that many young trees and so close together! You guys did an excellent job in cleaning up this gentleman's yard! I think maybe the boards in the back yard was a small deck where adults could sit and relax while watching the children swing and play. The shrubs look as though they may have blocked the view from the back deck. Judah did a fantastic job hanging in there with Dad even after he was tired from hauling alot of tree branches and using that heavy weed eater! You both deserve a special surprise after that transformation! Hope the other boys are feeling better real soon! God Bless you all!

Fantastic job. It turned out great. Just the two of you working this huge yard was very impressive. I am definitely a minimalist. As I age I really take into account how much upkeep is required to keep things tidy. The boards in the back are a real head scratcher. Since they are back there and near the play area I thought they may have been placed there for a picnic table or some type of play space. I see a little impish personality in Judah. He is a little cutie. I love his little howdy. All the boys are just adorable. Can't wait to see more.

Definitely minimalistic especially since most of the owners cannot afford the upkeep or do it themselves. Get rid of all low hanging tree branches, cut hedges short (they'll grow back quick enough) and trim the bottom of hedges clearing 4-6 inches from ground so leaves etc can be blown away easily and weed eaten with ease as well. Sorry I'm an older woman who used to have great difficulty maintaining my property. I now live in a studio. Love that you and your sons help needy homeowners. Much ❤ from Hawaii!

I maintain our home inside and out not by choice. I just happen to be the only one in our family who doesn't have allergies. Clutter is the only thing that stresses me out. So everything in the house has to be minimal and functional for ease of maintenance and everything outside is minimal, clutter free or have a purpose like my vegie patch. It's much easier to maintain when your the only one responsible for it. Love your work 🙂
