Everyone's list will always be different. As someone who hates unhappy endings, there are simply some great anime I won't ever watch. But there are some bangers not on this list on the happier end, like Golden Time (okay, lots of sad parts too), Masumune's Revenge, Higihero...so many great ones. But so glad that Josie and Weathering for You made the list. Two amazing movies!! And of course 3D Girlfriend, a rare one that got the second season to finish the story. bokura ga ita is also really good, like in my Top 3 overall fave anime. :') but be warned it doesn't have a second season but thankfully you can continue by reading the manga, it's complete.

Otaku dens knows we’re addicted to romance animes haha, I just can’t get enough of them. Although I don’t really like shoujo romance animes, there slow paced, whereas shounen romance animes have spice, I’m not throwing dirt on shoujo I’m just stating I like shounen romances more.

So for several years I have remembered bits and pieces of an anime i watched once as a little boy. I did not even get to watch the full thing at the time so. But if anyone know I would finally be at peace. So, what i can remember is that a seemingly little boy is playing a basketball match (boy so not high school), but still not too young either. All parents are there watching and as he scores he look over to his parents only to watch them get up and walk (my understanding at the time was that this was the last time he saw them). After the basketball game he walks to his closet and there is a letter from his parents. Then the next part i remember is, this boy is sitting outside on a swing by himself. It is winter so fairly dark but not nighttime. and it is snowing. He is sad because of the parents leaving (and/or feeling like he is not good enough in their eyes). Then a girl walks over to the swing and sit down on the one next to him. they know each other and it was a sad but heartfilled moment. i do not remember if she swings or anything like that, but after some "comforting" she leans in and they kiss. I do not think it is one filled with sci fi or action, though since i dont remember much else it might. Do not remember if it is a movie or not either. I also have like a slight memory, or at least a feeling, that the part where the parents left was a cut scene of something that had happened like i was watching a memory or him reminiscing. we are talking old series/movie here. i am a 27m and must have seen this when i was around 7 maybe, but the series or movie could be even older. Though the quality of movement and stuff seemed quite good. It is not anohana. It is not i want to eat your pancreas. can you help me???
