I love that he doesn't recognize the second NTVP song, considering he has a kicker session in AK to it.

OMG YES !!!! I was wondering where David Benedek had gone.... Man thank you. I still listen the Robotfood, Afterbang & Lame movie soundtracks whenever I go ride or run trails. These movies were filled with proper bangers and at the same time made it all about having tons of playful fun while riding with friends. This is revealing of my age but heck if I care Thank you Mr Benedek & Crew !

💰 Have to say between the music, editing, and shredding, Robot Food videos are the best. Will always represent the hay-day of snowboarding in our minds.

Bombhole RTTW Trivia in ten years: "Which ONLY EVER snowboard pro responded to his first ever hit of smelling salt with "Hmmm, this is nice!"?" - David Benedek is the best! The cap construction Salomon Prospect around 2000 felt like it was miles ahead of any board on the market. I had two... I was bummed when they went sidewall. The edge grip on the cap version was off the chain... Great guest, B-Hole! Well done!!

Maybe my favourite episodes, along with Mikey's. Very modest but also funny. It was great to see someone with a bit more depth beyond snowboarding, someone that's well reflected and conscious. Thanks folks. And thanks David!

"Is it fun? Yeah, I think its great times. I think... I think a lot of times umm. no matter what you do no matter how good or great it is. If you do something a lot you always kind of lose perspective for how good it actually is and um it usually happens when you get hurt and you can't snowboard you realize how fun it actually is. I am having a great time. I am still having as much fun as I did when I started snowboarding." - David Benedek The words that changed my life the first time I watched Afterlame and set me on a path to pursue snowboarding as a lifestyle.

Cannot emphasize enough to watch the Robot Food trilogy and bonus section videos linked in the show notes. Whether it's your first time watching Robot Food or you had note paper with all the bonus feature short cuts tucked in the DVD case the videos are such a great time captures of timeless snowboarding and what went into snowboarding in the early 2000s

So funny: The Burton two tongues story reminds me of a situation during the Swisspo (Swiss trade show) back then. A Buddy approached an Atlantis board and said deadly serious: «That's the answer to snow.» Nice chat guys! And a great shout-out at the end, David!

I've still got two Salomon Official snowboards - an 08/09 and 13/14. Best boards I've ever ridden. Wish Salomon would bring them back.
I was competing in that Vail Session when David did the double 12. It’s burned into my memory. Insane to see. Can confirm Andreas won that year. Sidebar… when they first opened the course for practice I was behind Andreas and he dropped a bs rodeo 9 first hit. Dude was on another level back then!
