I think the in-universe reason why you're rewarded for playing the arcade games is that doing it helps generate the illusion of activity at the pizzeria, thus making it seem more legit and helping bait in the animatronics; as such, 'Faz-Rating' is effectively a metric of how good you are at doing your actual job, *simulating* a realistic Fazbear's location that kids would actually want to visit

1:30 What’s funny is that your reaction to the pizza is exactly why it in-lore gives the character an extra $100: It fulfills the requirement of being a 4 topping pizza, without using any of that expensive meat and using yucky-and-cheap-as-heck veggies instead! Your establishment won’t be popular for its pizzas, but if they’re going to eat here, it’s those toppings or no toppings. That’s just what they’ll have to eat.

your "don't get hit" speech is so real because I had to have the EXACT same revelation with playing hades. as a game there are so many different tactics to use depending on which weapons and boons you have, just depending on which enemies you're facing, there's so much strategy you can use - but it isn't until I got an item that relies on you finishing rooms damageless to get buffs that I accidentally stumbled upon "don't get hit" because my runs were PHENOMENAL whenever I'd use that item. what's the point in dealing massive damage if you're bleeding health? the inverse is much more forgiving, in which it doesn't matter how low your damage output is if you're not getting hit. just stay alive, and eventually you have to kill the enemies. shifting my focus to keep myself safe and making damage a secondary bonus really just changed my entire mindset and made me so much more successful at the game don't get hit

The dont get hit mentality is similar to something you see in games like buckshot roulette, where most people try to predict what the odds of the next shell being live etc where they then forget that the point of the game is to kill the dealer and by shooting yourself you're giving yourself more chances to be shot ( obviously theres always specific cases where it could be different) But yeah, the thing about gravity vortex is the same and its easy to forget when you're playing. If you never get hit you will win, it doesnt matter about how much you hit the enemies or anything. Just dont get hit and you'll win

I don’t usually comment on YT videos but I’ve been on a binge watch with all of your videos and they’re like- perfect podcast material whenever I work at my graveyard shifts. Goes to show how excellent your scripting, storytelling and overall information distribution is. Can’t wait for the next one!!

Very cool video. Awesome to see you putting so much hard work and effort into making videos of such quality. If I can make a suggestion, though, I'd like to see you do some kind of challenge in FNAF World instead of the regular games since I've never seen you play it before.

Okay I kind of just realized that we're not here on Sunday. I feel like that would be a cool mod or fangame idea for what the custom night or 7th night could be in Pizzeria Simulator. Maybe Scott never did that because he's Christian, or maybe he just never thought it was necessary, but as a person who loves watching max mode videos, I feel like it's a cool idea, especially since the worst luck version is actually impossible

I like to imagine the in-universe reason you get money from the mini games would be that you're simulating multiple customers playing, and therefore paying for, these games
