The interesting part about Minus 7 is that it completely removes Blackouts as a Fnaf 2 Mechanic since all the animatronics who can trigger it are now stunlocked on various cameras

That dual camera stall glitch is so cool, can’t believe I’d never heard of that. I always thought it was weird that no one ever talked about how phone guy says you can stall them in the cameras, I just assumed it wasn’t actually implemented because of how rushed FNAF 2 was, like how shadow Freddy and the endo rare screens are meant to turn to static and disappear but the code for it is broken

im actually not too surprised, (and yet at the same time.. im surprised that someone finally took notice to the animatronic flashlight stalling mechanic for a 10/20 run) some years back when i was playing on an ios device, i discovered they could all be stalled with the 3 very cams shown in the video, (altho i didn't know you could glitch cam the cam for the whithered animatronics) the problem was.. that i didn't think it was a very viable strategy with BB causing a huge interruption, but it does kinda make a 9/20 mode much easier (ie 10/20 without BB) if you can manage the cams that fast I had a slight feeling that if it the cam stalling was at all doable on 10/20.. that BB would be a very tight window to deal with (which i just couldn't get down much) and now it's finally here! as a strategy i felt like i was one of few who knew this stuff but i didn't know for sure that it could be a viable strategy (well.. viable for top pros) (yeah.. that camera and BB management is lightning fast tho..) (for ios tho.. all that management is really kinda all over the place without a timer, and i can and did set a separate timer but its kinda annoying/hard to setup and perfectly sync with the night, rip mobile users, but ig we at least still have other strats)

I'll always put fnaf 2 at or near the top of any fnaf tear list Mostly because I don't consider 20 modes when ranking them because even in later fnaf games the max modes were afterthoughts that weren't really meant to be beatable. The gameplay otherwise just feels really good and it's the only fnaf game that makes me feel any sense of tension

It's honestly really interesting that the one strategy that eliminates RNG from FNaF 2, the game that's infamous for making the cameras borderline unnecessary and useless... actually relies on camera usage due to a mechanic that most folks didn't know about. Kinda makes me wish that Scott had put a bit more emphasis on stalling some of the animatronics with the cameras in this game.

It took me about 4 hours with shooters strat when I first completed it, but I didn't really understand the game as well as I do now, I just rebeat it for this comment in about 30 minutes. Minus 7 took me about 6.5 hours

Question. For the -3 strat, instead of stalling the Withereds in Parts and Services, could you instead stall the Toys and thus, completely remove Toy Bonnie from the equation?

Unfortunately no, the reason minus 3 works is because you don’t need to flash the withereds to stall them as long as your looking at their camera, it works the exact same as Freddy in Fnaf 1. however the toy animatronics do require flashed meaning that you can’t stall them if you get a blackout at any point during the night
