Rajasthan Series EP 5 | Udaipur to Jodhpur via Kumbalgarh

Presenting Rajasthan series episode 5 as we head towards Jodhpur from Udaipur. The road from Udaipur to jodhpur was full of surprises. It was not a straight highway neither it was a completely offroad terrain. It was a mix of both. There were broken patches for about 40 kms and mostly the highways were single carriage state highways. Heading out from Udaipur to Jodhpur, there are few places worth visiting in the likes of Kumbalgarh Fort, Ranakpur Jain temple and Om Banna temple a.k.a Bullet baba temple. We chose to skip Ranakpur because of very less time at hand. If you are travelling on this road, be sure to watch out for stray dogs, camels and cows enroute and they come out of no where, making driving very difficult on this stretch.
