The nicest, good looking, well done and comfortable boot I ever own... I love so much this boots that I had to buy two pairs 💪😉👌

These boots are made in Vietnam not China. I’ve been wearing these boots for over a year as a forklift operator and motorcycle rider. I’m very rough on boots. The upper and lower part of the boot is exceptional quality. I’m on my 3rd insole so far and my outsole is starting to come apart. The grip of the sole on every kind of surface is outstanding. I’ll be getting another pair soon unless Made in a China is on the label.

I just bought a pair of these today. . I've wanted them for 2 years, but put it off due to being cheap.. my feet changed my mind, as did my wife lol. Anyhow, I'm a forklift driver as well, paper trucks, box clamps ect. I also ride a motorcycle everyday rain or shine. Haven't got on the bike with them yet, but the square toe has got to be epic for shifting! Have you rode in the rain with them, How do they hold up?

I buy made in USA as much as I can. My Wesco boots are fantastic at $560, my Miller Bros Blades knives are both excellent $1800. I only have one issue. $$$. On some items I buy on best bang for the buck. Many times those items are not made in USA, or are only constructed in I USA, but all materials are not made in USA... when I’m buying best I can get, and the highest cost I can afford, I always look for USA made first. But that’s not always the case. My STIHL MS 461 is made in Germany, and so was my dad’s 044, 028 Super AV, and 026 chainsaw. I love my Country “USA”, and I’m still going to buy these boots!

I have the older version of this workhog and in my opinion they are the best pair of boots I have ever owned. I like wearing boots but never was able to wear them for any length of time. That said the first time I slipped on a pair of Ariat workhogs I was hooked. These are every bit as comfortable as my favorite pair of Nikes. Seriously the soft but firm sole and footbed make these the most comfortable boots!coming up on 2 years and it’s time to retire them. Looking forward to trying the updated model. I did want to replace the insole but have never received answers to several requests to Ariat cust. srvc emails. If someone can tell me where I can buy the exact replacement insoles I would be grateful.Thank you!

I have a pair and though not as comfortable as the workhog (not a work boot) they are very well made and very comfortable esp once broken in. At first I was a bit disappointed with the comfort but after a few months ( don’t wear daily) they have become my favorite non work boot. It’s too bad they are made in China. I’m hoping Ariat will look at moving production to USA. Especially with Covid-19 I think any manufacturer should do anything possible to move to US.

I have square to work hogs. They are just tan, but these have held up a year for me so far. I work in concrete construction. The problem with them is they squeek, and by the eight hr mark become a bit uncomfortable to me.

As always a great detailed review. Had 2 of the old WorkHogs and they do not last at all..will Fall apart by the 6 month mark.They are also uncomfortable for extended shifts (14-18 hours) I'm in oil/gas and lots of other guys that work with me have the same opinion:Looks good but do not last or are comfortable. Thorogood,RW or Danners (American made) are the way to go if you are messing with oil,fuel or lubricants. I get more life out of a thorogood wedge sole than that Ariat garbage.
@JohnDoeEagle16 жыл бұрын
It's not the boot but the amount of time you are spending in them that is wearing them out prematurely. You should have multiple pairs and air them out between wearings. Leather, rubber and other materials need time to breath and fully dry out. Try a PEET boot dryer and that will resolve most issues.
@fllago6 жыл бұрын
I do alternate pairs, amost times I have 3 pairs in rotation, and you are right I should buy a peet..has been on my list for quite sometime. Now,the quality wasn't there.I had the old, first edition workhogs,honestly I dont know how these new ones will perform.They would just not keep up with RW 400 or 606 been used in the same rotation. Ariat soles and leather would not keep up with oil and lubricants on a daily basis, and the fact that they are not serviceable does not help any. Ariat just cant

I’ve got the older model and it says China in the shaft sadly. It’s really difficult to find a similar style booth made in USA but I’m looking for it in my next work boot. Might even fork out the money for Nick’s… just wish they did a pull-on. Really trying to make the shift to everything USA made as much as possible.

I love cowboy boots but i can’t wear my cowboy boots on a concrete factory floor all day. Can these boots take a concrete factory floor for 11 hr shifts without killing my feet ? P? My cheap tennis shoes I currently wear have almost no arch support are killing by the end of the day. I feel like I’m getting a painful heel spur in my right heel. I have a pair of comfortable Ariat Cowboy boots for the weekends but I don’t want to mess up my out on the town boots as work. I wonder if theses work hogs can handle a factory floor?

Q. What's difference between a "western pull on" as stated and a Wellington boot?

Usually the toe and heel. Wellingtons have shorter heels and rounder toes. "Western Pull On" is like a working cowboy boot.

Most likely not. But don't let me discourage you from trying to pair on. I once worked on a site with a guy who had a similar operation.He would have a shoemaker install a zipper into the side of his pull on boots to help him get it on and off.
