My dad drove a Mack cement truck all his life. As a kid, I thought he was the the best guy ever, driving the biggest baddest truck. How I loved it when he'd stop at home for a samich on his way back to the plant, and take me with him. Id bounce around looking at the smoke outta the stack in awe! Now Ive been jammin gears for 27 years! Love your videos and love of your job pal! Be proud!

Plymouth Rock had a terminal in No. Haven Ct. Now it's a shopping center. A company I worked for had a contract with STAPLES, out of Plainfield Ct. I worked for LILY for my last 14 years, Retired from there, my last account was with WHOLE FOODS out of Chesire Ct. Delivered all over Boston area with them. You're like me with different jobs but I started out in the construction industry. Drove dumps , conc. block, mixers, conc. pipe & manholes, catch basin delivery, as well as general freight, hauled furniture, Flatbeds for Quickcrete, corrugated cardboard ended up hauling groceries. Then back part time on a tri/axle after retirement. Full circle LOL Still love that SuperDog.

Thanks,, Yeah one thing I never did was OTR. I mean when I hauled furniture out of Ct I stayed over nite up in Burlington VT every week but I slept in a motel. Hauled watermelons out of FL to Ct when I was younger, we ran 2 drivers never stopped back in the day, Had a little helpmif you know what I mean, But that was only P/T when I was layed off. I love the way you take care of your trucks, I was like that too even if I drove a fleet truck they were clean & personalized,

Very COOL! I watched some of your videos in the past of you driving the R model Mack dumps and Superliner....I just subscribed. I choose my dads path of railroading...had a great career on a regional railway Chicago Central & Pacific...threw 2 buy outs I was laid off, then shortline railroad....laid off a few times...in between I drove International 4700 flatbed towtrucks, R model Mack wreckers and did semi dump for 2 seasons...Man I sure wish I took pictures of my work places....every one of them is gone, except for one towing company....my father had a saying "HERE TODAY, GONE TOMORROW".....my most favorite truck you drove, of course is the Superliner at the end, what a classy truck!
