Tis the season for mission calls! These are just the best. The seniors just go from house to house opening call after call. I’m stoked for my little nephew Jake. If you’ll remember, his brother Bo got called to Norway and should be home just in time to see Jake for a few short weeks before he takes off for Brazil. This song called “Brothers,” is a perfect fit. One of my favorites by @kenneth.m.cope And we were so lucky to get cookies by my favorite baker, @whitneyssweets 🤤 I served in Asunción Paraguay 🇵🇾 20 years ago! Missions are HARD. Rewarding, but so freaking hard. How is it that I starved on my mission and came home chubby? 🐷 Ha ha. Looooots of things malfunction with your body in the mission field. Especially your bowels 🙈 Jake is gonna have the best experience-his girlfriend not so much. Fun fact, I sent off two missionaries! One to Uruguay and about 18 months later, another to Korea. And you know what’s hilarious? I got my mission call to Paraguay, and got dear Janed-after writing both missionaries almost their whole missions 🙄 And I got the letter in the MTC-I hadn’t even made it to the field yet 🤦🏻‍♀️ So that was nice. And it turns out I’ve been punk’d for the last 16 years in my marriage so that’s been super fun too 😒🤥 i want to start my life back over starting from age 15, please. Everything went to crap after that 😵‍💫🫤 Except my 8 little best friends. Sorry, sheesh…red dragon 🐉 is foaming at the mouth and needs chocolate. ✌🏼 out. #calledtoserve#brazil#missionary

It was fun seeing Kenya practicing her ''gynastics", I could watch her all day❤! I can't get over how good Nico and Nayoma did zipping into the foam pit- they are growing up too fast👫🏾! Thank you for sharing the beautiful singing, and congrats to Jake on his Mission, may God keep him safe while he serves🙏
