I can imagine a fight with these guys starting out as them "goofing around" with both of them laughing and having fun like the dopes they are, leading to Patrick getting a bit more competitive while Ed' still not taking it too seriously, eventually leading to Ed getting a rock (or a slightly big clump of sand) in his shoe and calling Patrick tubby, and the two completely remove any pretense of proper fighting strategy and just start thrashing at each other like wild animals.

I feel this kind of depends on what is included for the analysis. I think Ed has the advantage since he possesses a larger amount of strength. Potentially capable of breaking reality itself depending on how you interpret it. I doubt Patrick can really stack up to him. But that’s only regarding the main show. There could be something in his spin-off that gives him a trump card thanks to it’s wackier nature than regular Spongebob.

Ending Idea: Patrick Is Beyond angry. And that’s clearly never a good sign, Ed also had a pebble in his shoe to make things worse. Both Patrick’s fist & Ed’s foot collide. Causing a huge explosion that sends them flying to a sandy area. Patrick gets up in Ed’s clothes and visa versa for Ed, they get into a cartoon fight cloud as it quickly shows them in their regular clothing. Patrick then for the first time *gets an idea* He starts building something with the sand. He first builds something on the ground. But it seems to be nothing, he then starts building something *big* with the sand while still fighting Ed with a hammer he made from sand After a while of fighting the structure is finally done. *it’s a MECH*, Patrick then tries stomping on Ed multiple times. But Ed Jumps up and creates holes in the mechs body each time. The mech after a while falls apart leaving only the head. Ed prepares to Kick patrick before the head then *ZOOMS* up into the sky. Taking ed with it Ed gets into the cockpit and fights with Patrick for a bit. Before Patrick punches him out sending him flying, he then pushes a button that has.. *missiles* pop out from the ground! That’s what he was building at first! They then zoom towards Ed before hitting him & causing a HUGE explosion. Leaving only. *the pebble* Patrick & the mech head slam down to the ground, Before somehow a ice cream cone gets into his hand.. “Yay Ice Cream!” He starts licking it. Almost as if it was a reward for defeating Ed *KO*

For a tense build up, Death Battle’s best bet would to be Ed and Patrick fighting at Bikini Bottom, but then a pebble accidentally gets into Ed’s shoe then at 1:43 we get a close up of Ed’s pupils turning into daggers, he then GRABS HIS EYES AND TAKES OUT TWO LITERAL DAGGERS. And the fight continues with some serious strength and toon force.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH boy this is gonna be a shitshow..... Beginning: Patrick is seen at the Krusty Krab, stalling as usual as Ed waits in line behind him. Squidward: For the last time, we don't just _sell_ mayonnaise packets here! Go bother someone else! Patrick: Well says you! I'm not taking my leave otherwise! I demand my packets and one Krabby Patty. Squidward: Fine, I'll _give_ you the patty and you'll receive the packets later. The camera then cuts to Ed, seemingly patiently waiting in line with a few small jumps. He then peers his head past the line and spots Patrick holding a Krabby Patty, causing him to gain his trademark goofy grin. As Patrick walks past the others, he bumps into Ed, who has taken an interest in his burger. Ed: Excuse me miss, i want that! Patrick's expression grows dim as he recognizes another Patty stealer. Patrick: Well-uh, get your own then! I'm not _sharing_ just because you asked for it, weenie! 0:00: Patrick then rudely shoves Ed to one side and walks past him, causing the Ed Brother to grow infuriated, which Patrick realizes a _bit_ too late at the sound of a bloodcurdling yell. Ed: ED DOESN'T LIKE BEING SHOVED! Patrick turns around just in time to see Ed barreling towards him, and raises his arms to defend against the oncoming tackle, the flat head of Ed acting like a battering ram to keep Patrick pinned to the front of him. At the last moment, however, Patrick digs his legs into the ground and slams Ed into the ground using the force generated by his charge. 0:18: Ed rips his body out of the ground, and spots the falling Krabby Patty at the same time Patrick does. Ed: BAD! Patrick: NOT MY PATTY! Both small-brained bruisers rush to catch the falling Patty, but Ed extends his tongue outwards and slurps up the patty, causing Patrick to cry out in horror. As the Ed's own bruiser is chewing the patty, he recoils in disgust and spits the remains of the patty out. Ed: No more for me, thanks! 0:46: Patrick: HOW DARE YOU DISGRACE MY PATTY! The pink starfish charges at Ed full tilt before the Ed-boy simply grabs Patrick's head, prompting the starfish's eyes to widen and his mouth to drop in a comical fashion as Ed slams him about the Krusty Krab. Eventually, he spins the starfish above his head with massive amounts of speed and hurls him out of the Krusty Krab, grating his back and leaving large skid marks on the back of his head. Patrick: That's gonna sting tomorrow...... 1:00: Ed then walks out, turns to face the diner and literally picks all of it up, _including the plot where it was originally built on_ . As the pink starfish regains his bearings, another yell nearly deafens him. Ed: ED SMASH STUPID STARFISH! The enforcer of the Eds then comes crashing down with the entire Krusty Krab establishment, using it like a weapon to repeatedly clobber Patrick with before the pink starfish stops the assault with one hand and smashes the slab of earth towards the Ed, who engages in what may be a improv slap fest as both gyrate their arms rapidly in a circle and attempt to clobber eachother with the resulting momentum to no avail as they bounce off eachother like pinballs. 1:15: Eventually, their flailing fists meet and create a massive burst of kinetic energy, throwing both of the combatants back and into downtown Bikini Bottom. Ed slams into a construction site while Patrick crashes into a intersection, causing untold pandemonium as the Ed boy grabs a nearby steel beam and Patrick rips a street lamp out of the ground to duel with. However, Patrick overjudges a swing and ends up wrapping the street lamp around Ed's steel beam, which causes the Ed boy to jerk the beam up and start smacking the pink starfish against it like a paddleball. Ed: Boing boing boing boing! Patrick, now infuriated by his opponents recklessness, grips the beam Ed wields with an unfamiliar strength and growls. Patrick: That's enough you..... you traveling loafie! I'LL TEACH YOU TO DISRESPECT MY EATING HABITS! 1:43: Patrick rips the beam out of Ed's hands and repeatedly thrashes the Ed boy with it before baseball-swinging the steel beam into Ed's stomach, launching him away as the pink starfish spots a nearby unused building nearby, the ed-boy collecting himself as Patrick runs towards him while jabbering like a madman. Ed, thinking fast, picks up a ice cream stand and threateningly holds it above his head, causing Patrick to stop in his track! Patrick: NONONONO! NOT MY ICE CREAM! Ed, however, slams the ice cream cart onto Patrick with reckless abandon, causing the ice cream to splash all over him. As a result, the pink starfish freezes up. 2:03: Ed then capitalizes on this moment by repeatedly clobbering Patrick with his strength before crushing the icy-coffin he resides in with a powerful uppercut, freeing the pink starfish and stealing his weapon in the process. However, another Patrick appears and socks Ed with another, using it like a flail against the Ed boy as a horde of Patrick's seem to overwhelm him. As the Ed boy breaks free ot the Patrick horde, the original has uprooted another building before engaging in a monumental swordfight with both buildings against Ed, who seems to be more brutish with his attacks. Eventually, Ed pushes Patrick back and spins his building like a buzzsaw while Patrick leaps into the air and plunges down towards Ed with his building pointed downwards in a makeshift plunging attack, both weapons colliding and exploding in a grand fireball. Patrick is launched into another part of Bikini Bottom, while Ed is launched into......... 2:32: A large, dormant volcano. Ed's giddy grin returns at the thought of another weapon to use against the starfish. Ed: Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! As the original Patrick gets up, he spots Ed running towards him with the volcano in tow, causing him to shriek in horror. Patrick: SOMEONE STOP THAT MADMAN, NOW! The clones of Patrick run forward to stop the rampaging Ed, only for him to trip and tip the volcano onto it's side, which causes a torrent of magma to spill out and burn away the clones of Patrick. The original (and only remaining) Patrick leaps to the top of a large building, while Ed explodes out of a burning Barg 'N' Mart in his Lothar costume. Ed: PREPARE TO BE DEFEATED, UNWANTED PESTERER! Patrick: Not quite, old friend! Patrick pulls out a piece of paper and uses it's power to become Mr. Superawesomeness, and uses his powers of Gelatokinesis to fire a barrage of Ice Cream towards Ed, who yelps and runs away from it. However, as Patrick stares on in victory, he feels something dig into his back and pull something out, Ed is now standing behind Patrick and holding his nerve ring in one hand. Ed: Did you drop this, mister? Patrick: No, but i'm certainly feeling woozy....... He pies the dazed starfish in the face with the ring, knocking him over the edge and into the lava, causing the starfish to melt into a pink sludge before evaporating. Ed let's out a yell of victory, drumming his chest like a monkey before returning to his standard dopey grin.

Okay, I gotta admit I love the title for this. Like a lot of people are probably more focused on the music, (Which is great), but this title has so much packed into just two words. 1) It's a play on Super Stars (Fitting since Patrick is a Starfish) 2) Super is replaced by Stup-Ed cause they're both idiots 3) Stup-Ed being split up not only helps it keep a similar feel to super, but splits it into Stup, and Ed, which I shouldn't need to point out one of the two is the name of our other fighter. 4) What I DO need to point out just cause I actually had to look this up myself, and may or may not even be intentional, but Stup is an actual word. Specifically from Volapük, a language a german cleric created around 1879-1880 because he thought god told him in a dream to create an international language. That's off-track though (Although is also a fun little history tidbit, so thank you google.) the point is in that language Stup, means Stupid. So yeah, great music, and great title. Like I don't think I could think of a better title for the match-up.

Edd is an absolute powerhouse, but Patrick isn't exactly a slouch either. Not to mention, he has Toon Physics on his side. The only thing is Patrick canonically cannot exist outside of water for more than about 5~ minutes, and is also extremely small.

Spongebob is very inconsistent so it would better to go with the most common feats rather than the extraordinary outliers. I.E. Spongebob once was incapable of moving a cup filled with juice once.

Mr Krabs: "Get in line, boy!" FIGHT! Mr Krabs effortlessly swings Eddy past him and plants his face into his jukebox forcing a Dropkick Murphys song to start playing. Eddy: "You'll pay for that!" Eddy forces his knee into Krabs' left abdomen and drops his elbow into his lower jaw. Mr Krabs meets Eddy's attack with a backwards uppercut throwing him back ten feet into the bathroom door. Eddy jumps out of the bathroom ready to pounce with a barrage of jabs and swings into Mr Krabs' face and neck. Eddy: "I'll show you whose boss!" Eddy has his ahand suddenly caught in Mr Krabs claw who clamps his wrist broken and repeatedly throws some navy expertise into the fight. Eddy is met with the most gruelling beating between all the characters with a hail of fists and elbows. On the final blow, eddy is speedily forced through the house walls into the next yard over forcing him to surrender to the power of the veteran crustacean. Ed boys: 1/3 Krusty Krew: 2/3 And yes, I know i didn't use spongebob for the fight because he isnt a fighter 😂
