Tbh, I don’t really hear any resemblance to Clown’s theme. It definitely feels like a chase theme with Batman-esque music, but none of the elements from Clowns music (chase or menu theme) are present. The little giggles, the bombastic circus drums, the trombones. None of it is in this battle track. If it weren’t for the title, I wouldn’t associate this track to be Clown-related at all. Overall, it sounds good. It’s just a bit too generic for a crazy killer Clown.

Coulorphobia meaning fear of clowns. So the question is will Scarecrow succumb to this phobia or will the Master of Fear inflict terror upon his opponent? The track is quite impressive, as the description says it gives of a bit of a horror chase feel, but for me it also gives off a psychological battle of terror and fear.

Surprised this gets commissioned before Scarecrow VS Mysterio. Either way the song itself is solid. Dark atmosphere, slow and unsettling bits while still being intense enough to pass off as a genuine battle theme. Speaking of which I must say I quite like how the song gradually picks up in intensity as it goes on. It's not direct and you don't really notice it at first but the way it goes from dark and unsettling to "horror chase" is extremely fluid, something that I quite like. I shows escalation in a great way, especially for an MU like this that would gradually descend into horror instead of jumping completely into it at one point. An OST that I didn't await anything of yet that is extremely appreciable. Amazing work as always.

I know that these two are bosses of their respective games (Scarecrow in the Arkham series and Clown being DBD of course), this genuinely gives me the vibes of either: Two bosses of a horror game fighting each other with you being either one. A theme of the stage with horror aspects...or a double boss fight where you're fighting them both at once with the fight escalating as the song does, Dark souls style. Either way...I genuinely love this one because of the horror game vibes. And yet the Arkham series aren't even full horror based games, yet Brandon nailed that feeling of it. Nice Job!!

Tl;dr Idk about Clown, but Scarecrow is peak human levels of durability, has outwitted Batman and while not physically strong, has multiple ways to hinder his opponent I dont know anything about DbD feats, but I do know Arkham Scarecrow has taken blows from a fear toxin Batman (so he would be holding back far less), survived a fight with Killer Croc in the water (where Croc is at his best, and Croc is at minimum high wall level, and Croc wouldve had no reason not to kill Scarecrow) Scarecrows fear toxin can be dispersed via a slow to activate but impossible for even Batman to notice gas, or via needles that activate immediately. While it is possible to resist the toxin, only peak human characters like Batman have been able to (at least in the arkham series) He's also fairly intelligent, being able to catch Batman off guard on multiple occasions and technically (with help from red hood) defeated Batman.
