With my folks having some background in Asian cinema during the martial arts craze in the 70s - 80s, I remember hearing stories when I was a kid of how monstrous Bolo Yeung was. The Man is a legend!

She is Nadiuska, who played Conan´s mother. An amazing actress wasted only in light erotic comedies due to her beauty and the mindset in spanish cinema those years. Franco just died and people wanted comedy, boobs, and ass. A pity, because she was a very good actress. In the 90´s she was diagnosed of schizophrenia, and a few years later she was found wandering homeless, living in the streets, very deteriorated. I don´t know if she is dead or still alive.

the villains plan is actually prity horrifying. no sperm means the human race could no longer reproduce. causing humans as a whole to a very slow death

MrUsoutlaw Not unless it chemically castrates the world's male populace, or otherwise render them permanently infertile. And that assumes by "lethal to sperm" they mean inside the body, and not just a topical spermicide like in a condom. A chemical capable of killing sperm internally would only matter until the chemical leaves the body(in fact, all such a drug would be is a male version of birth control pills) and then the new sperm produced by the testis would survive again. And even if it did permanently sterilize males exposed to it, which is _not_ what the dialogue said it did, the infertility rate of males would matter much less than that if females since 1 fertile male can impregnate many, many, fertile females. World governments would need only protect enough males to avoid a genetic bottleneck (aided by the diversity if female genomes left untouched by the chemical) and, as a precaution, collecting and freezing as much viable sperm as possible.

It could be worse...some Asian country that shall remain nameless might have either have an accident in one of their virus weaponization facilities or have a special on some rancid bat wing soup but one act or the other introduces some virus that’s mistaken for the flu, but it really isn’t, and the global economy is forced to grind to a halt as the world’s population are forced to enforce the biggest restraining order ever as everybody is expected to stay far far far away from everybody else ‘cause we might all catch the cooties! But who’d believe that? Not the “perfect physical specimen” living in the White House!

@@munstrumridcully Your concept is pretty much how the plot, such as it is, treats this. If you were to use it in a city's water supply, it would sterilize virtually every male in the area. At least a moderately serious threat. It would take a while to have a major impact, but could be potentially devastating. It's unlikely, but so is the rest of the film.

I love how the opening credits are done. The credits themselves are superimposed on a slide projector moving to the right and the film footage we're watching is also on a slide projector moving to the left. Very neat little way of doing things.

i was surprised to learn how much he'd acted, they really should have gave him more screen time in some things for being a bodybuilder he's a decent actor and brings an interesting feel to the movies he's in. . i wonder if there's anything with him subverting expectations/typecasting like him playing someone really meek but he's still the most JACKED guy in the movie.. side character or main i'd watch it.

Ah, the 80's when men wore Speedos on the beach and tiny shorts on the courts. Somehow, it's so much funnier in hindsight. Everything was punctuated with a pornographic wink that, if done today would get you slapped with a sexual harassment suit, or in this case an amazing Bruce suit. The artwork is as priceless as the commentary. Bravo, gentlemen!

I certainly want to watch this one, what fun! I think the logic of the formula must have been that it could be used to sterilize men. Dumped into a countries water supply it would slowly wipe them out? Nothing less makes sense. This is also my favorite episode so far of these reviews, hilarious! 7:10 - this film is from 1982, the footage at the Macau Trotters Association comes from an event they held that year. I think a lot of the dates for these movies on IMDB and other sites are pure guess work

One thing that continually amuses me: throughout a good part of his life, Bruce Lee wasn't considered Chinese enough to deserve training or critical acclaim, because he was half German. His martial arts style/philosophy (the line between the two blurs a bit), Jeet Kun Do, very specifically breaks with traditional Chinese martial arts philosophy, seeking to push boundaries and use what works, rather than relying on the traditions of the ancients. Yet, because the man was such an internationally acclaimed genius of both acting and the martial arts, after his death, he *became* one of "the ancients" now revered by the Chinese.
