Dude this Looks Epic. Such an amazingly detailed small moc (small compared to your other mocs) but the detail and weathering is insane. Love the design of the building. Very realistic as well as the weathering on parts of the moc. Im sure it must have been a pain too get all thos 2x2 dark tan with 1 stud to align. Great Job as alway! Keep it up!
@TheBrickCrew2 жыл бұрын
thanks a lot mate! Yeah like I said before I have to focus on smaller builds for now but no worries, big projects are coming 😎 haha the 2x2 dark tan plates were kind of annoying but worth it

The siege of Budapest or Battle of Budapest was the 50-day-long encirclement by Soviet and Romanian forces of the Hungarian capital of Budapest, near the end of World War II. Part of the broader Budapest Offensive, the siege began when Budapest, defended by Hungarian and German troops, was encircled on 26 December 1944 by the Red Army and the Romanian Army. During the siege, about 38,000 civilians died through starvation, military action, and mass executions of Jews by the far-right Hungarian nationalist Arrow Cross Party.[6][7] The city unconditionally surrendered on 13 February 1945. It was a strategic victory for the Allies in their push towards Berlin.

You were able to portray what few people succeed in, you were able to show the severity and cruelty of the war, albeit in this format. Music, close-ups - it all creates that very atmosphere and you seem to immerse yourself in it and realize the burden of those difficult years

@TheBrickCrew2 жыл бұрын
haha yeah the cat wanted to be part of the video If you need Bricks in huge quantity I recommend your local lego store and pick up pieces at the pick a brick wall If you don't have one close to you or they don't offer the parts you need I recommend Bricklink.

It looks stunning, however I have a question, I have noticed that baseplates are not in common usage in your builds, is this out of pragmatism or simply a habit ?

As a hungarian I really like it !!!! Its good to know someone cares about the hungarain front too. But please let me correct you, there were no Marders in Budapest during the siege, also, wehere is this place? I live in Budapest for 18 year but I cant recognise is😅. Otherwise its REALLY good!

Hey man! This build isn't based on any existing places or buildings. I build the Moc by using some reference pictures how a building in Budapest could have looked like during ww2
