Had the privilege of training with Liam at a D5 class in CA. Great guy with lots of knowledge. I could see his enthusiasm of teaching right away. During the breaks he would talk about the books he’s reading. The Monkey Paradox being one of them. Would’ve been cool just to have a Pint with him and bend his ear. I totally understand his watching videos to learn. With limited resources I scour the net to try to pick up some lessons. Visualization is key. Playing scenarios in my spare time prior to shift is something I try ti do regularly. Cheers Liam, from a LEO always wanting to learn more.

Joined the Bridge for Mike’s (GT’s) episode. Watching previous episodes now. I’m hooked and sharing to everyone I know that’ll listen. By far one of, if not the best, podcasts I’ve heard in a long time. I can’t wait for more. Liam is awesome.

Same here dude. I listened to the Garand Thumb one and now this one. This is such excellent content. I didn't know anything about Travis besides his name before listening to these. Awesome stuff.

Just because America has more freedom than most other countries... Doesn't mean we have all the freedoms we should have or started out with. Our freedoms have been eroded. To say otherwise would be a lie. Freedom lovers have been on defense for far too long. Its time we went on the offensive. This Country was founded on Biblical principles. We need to realize that as a whole again!.... What is evil? Great Podcast TH... We need more of this in our Culture... God bless You and your efforts!

Gentlemen thank you so much for inspirational conversation and life philosophy. You guys are both self taught, self teachers. The one thing I would say is if you do go to a good collage or university they should teach you how to teach your self. That's all you need from any school of any kind. Fantastic work.

At the time of the this comment this video is at 11K views, 397 likes and 34 comments. This is one of the most inspirational things I’ve ever seen on the internet, but so few people are getting this amazing message and that’s sad I think you’ll all agree. Keep up the good work.

1:34:18, i would argue that knowledge by its self doesnt always equal competence, and I would go as far to say that the schooling system often seems to lack the ability to teach the experiences along side the knowledge of a degree to build that competence. I remember spending countless hours in chemistry class where i learned how ro make a lot of complex equations, physics class to calculate all sorts of energy transfers, and maybe 2 hours on projects where we applied the knowledge to any real usefull/ or resourcefull tasks. Hell i had a contracter show me that I never knew how to use a prybar correctly untill i had to demolish a deck on my own house in my mid 20's and thats just a simple lever, never mind mixing chemicals and calculating the weight of bolt of a direct blow back smg.

Great interview. Even better insight on how someone from another country see our home, and now his. I’ve trained a few times with the Brit Royal Marines, and in my last unit we did a big exercise with 4-0 command, and I can definitely say the whole knife thing is true. Those guys would trade anything and everything for a pocket knife, or some kind of blade. That in it self is crazy. To think how a country can go so far as to ban knives. But yet here in the states people still don’t understand how good we have it, and how easily we can loose it. Get off of Facebook and snap chat or Instagram and crying about what ever and go do something that matters or helps fix what is wrong.

Just curious. What is the shooting and tactical schools scene like in eastern european countries? Is that much of a deterrent for UK citizens to go train and shoot over there?
