I saw them with Third Eye Blind in Seattle and the way he segwayed into the song from telling a story about making mistakes because it's your life was one of the most epic moments in live music for me. The story he told was so captivating that he had the crowd hanging on every word and when he went from talking about how he loves this woman and he was telling his mother "If you could only see" and begins the song, the crowd exploded it was so epic.

Why did you UNDERRATE this album ?🤔 It is rated as LEGENDARY in my book!
@k9er2339 ай бұрын
@@konakona895 You might want to check the meaning of the term "under-rated". It literally means "much better than it was actually rated". The term "Over-rated" means that something is not really as good as it is "rated" or it was rated too highly. The term "under-rated" can seem to sound negative but it actually is not. I absolutely agree with you that it is a legendary and stellar album!

There was always something about Tonic that I couldn't figure out. Something great, but indescribable. But I think now I understand. A hard-driving thoughtful rock band that didn't particularly act that way. Ordinary "Joe's" walking down the street that just rocked the earbuds off your phone moments before. And they've stayed true to that way for decades. They were a major reason why the 90's were so damn good, musically. Thank you Tonic.

Walked into a supermarket recently. This was playing on the overhead shopping loop. Just a short snippet. Couldn't really catch any lyrics. Stuck in my head. I couldn't remember anything, just that the song had meant something to me somewhere, some time. I was waking up with it in my head. Couldn't even remember a full lyric. This morning, I did. Found it. Now I remember the connection. A long time ago.

I think a lot of significance is missed here… I’ve only ever seen one other band sync up THREE acoustic guitars the way Tonic did for this video shoot. And it was a once-in-a-lifetime live performance of “Seven Bridges Road” by the Eagles. I challenge anyone else to scour the internet and find any band, any song, that harmonizes three live acoustic guitars better than these boys. I consider this a world-class performance for that reason.
