*(Nobody is probably gonna read this, but whatever.)* Ok so I got on yesterday, and I chose to play on my PS4. I had lost 2 placements the day before, because I was playing while tilted. Anyways, I got on to solo queue. I ran into so many nice people, and not a SINGLE game was anyone toxic. Won every game, with a score of 6-4. Most memorable game was game 11 (after placements) where I was talking to a duo queue, both support mains. There was a female in voice chat, (the support mercy main) and she was kinda upset because she wasn't able to play DPS, like Genji, Mcree, etc. I said "how come?" And she said because most of our teams are males and she thought that we wouldn't let her play it because "it's a harder role for females" But I told her, "Hey. Play anything you want, prove these boys wrong, you got this!" And she did exactly that. 59% kill participation, 73 eliminations. And she proved every other boy wrong. *And this is a lesson, if you're playing with a girl, don't make her pick a support, because she can't "handle" A DPS or Tank. And ESPECIALLY don't limit her to female heroes only. Let her play whatever, because she might be good at it.* 👍

Jimmy Joe It’s true I see many female players who play nothing but Mercy,Moira,Tracer,Widow,Mei,Dva ,and Zarya with very few hours on any male character.The ones I see play mainly support but often I see them playing well as widow but people expect them to stay support.

Kaweeb I did read it, but I’ve never seen this happen ever. Whenever I’ve ran into a girl player, they lock in supports themselves, and usually don’t express their want to play DPS heroes. I don’t blame them, I’m the same, I’m just awful at DPS. And a lot of the girls I ran into were great supports, whether I was playing tank or support myself. However, I play PC, and I know that the playerbase is (in general) more toxic and has an “I’m the best” mentality on console. Maybe this is a console thing?

I really hope the people creating groups now aren’t locking the roles. That’s the only reason why I’m not interested in the most part of the lfg system because so many people apparently have trust issues with lfg and lock the roles. Just a little tip I hope people can take away from this comment. Im not excited looking for groups because 99% are locked roles and I would rather “flex” switch to Tracer if I need to.
