Sometimes you have to go solo and scout the not so hot flags. Don't attack just wait for your team or a team mate to perish and they spawn on you and the team can take that flag. It's rewarding to take a flag that's hard but also rewarding to take a flag period and maybe sway the momentum of the game.

Spot on that mate. Half of my deaths are from sprinting around and not keeping an eye on the mini map. I'll try the slow down tactic see if that works.

it often feels like there are just too many players on the map. . .wherever you go there is someone in front, behind or on either side of you and you just get splatted constantly, this is why I love Portal, gives you a chance to limit the player count and create a bit more of a tactical game where you have to think about how you approach situations.

To avoid this, look at your mini map and find where all your team is then make sure to position yourself within that group and face the direction where you have no team mates then always make sure you're not drifting too far from your team otherwise you will find yourself outnumbered. Hope that helps.

I’ve been playing BF since the beginning. All I can say is that you need to forget a lot of how you played previously. You are going to die ALOT in this game. I love the 128 player mayhem though. Breakthrough is where I’ve spent almost all of my time and it’s addictive as hell.

Learn to control recoil and go for headshots as soon as you're on target. If you drift of target, don't panic, stop shooting, recenter the target and fire again. Depending on range and weapon you might want to tap fire or fire in short bursts. At least for me using the ak24 I only hold down the trigger in close quarters. If you prefer full auto all the time you might want to switch to smgs or lmgs. The latter of which are ridiculously forgiving even when full autoing while standing lol

most of the time i died was from vehicle...after you kill one vehicle then either heli spot you or hovercraft/bolt gunning you from above the hill

Hey so im a vet and i have to say this is all vorrect except i belive you shouldnt be too slow. INSTEAD consistently pace urself each match to go fast, while maintaining high alert. THEN WHEN COMING IN CONTACT with a combat zone increase alertness and slightly increase pace. You will grow stronger this way. Update: take risk by exploring unknown options like entering a enemy territory by building in order to quickly flank/kill your attackers then fall back.

i played the 10hr trial on xbox game pass on my xbox one. even with 64 players it was so darn fun. so satisfying to hit headshots. i am going to purchase the next gen con just because of this game.

I don't mind breakthrough the problem is the enemy keeps getting behind you as well so there's multiple directions they can kill you from not to mention you're constantly being sniped. Conquest on the other hand is chaotic as well you're constantly spotted no matter what game mode you play with very little cover most maps, and as always a lot of players don't revive. And before if you were on a team with 32 players that were not that good now it's 64 that are not that good I'm not a big fan of a 128 players. I have been playing since Battlefield 3 and this one is so hard to adjust to the map size and the player size I guess. I'm on PS5 BTW.

Yeah that's my problem, I move slow but someone is always spawning behind me or if I spawn on a point it always spawn me in front of enemy, today it spawned me in the middle of 5 enemies like I was on their team

Yeah I know exactly what u mean. I kinda slowly stopped using smgs and ars and started using the svk. My average gun fight encounters are 15m-20m out. That was the adjustment I made. You can't play this game like bf3 or bf4. Maps are crazy as hell, and people are rushing like how they used too

Considering for me at least, almost all my kills against players are surprise attacks and not head to head fire fights, it's not that big a deal if there are pc players, they'll be dead before they can react

What he's saying is true. 💯 I tend to live much longer, 1 maybe 2 deaths in milsim No Hud lobbies. COD/ FULL HUD players hate no Hud lobbies because it's more technical.

Just a heads up, only the heavy suppressors keep you from coming up on the mini map completely. They regular and wrapped suppressors only hide you on the mini map inside a small radius around you.

The best tip I have, be a KZbinr. Then use a VPN to get into bot lobbies. Bam you’ll be amazing at the game. I’ve never seen easy lobbies unless your a KZbinr.

The size of the open maps invite snipers everywhere, it's tiresome. Orbital is probably the best (to me) for breaking the open spaces up
