Tony, I want to thank you for this great video. It inspired this 66 year old to take the plunge and plan to climb Arthur's Seat. Wasn't sure I could do it, but this morning, I got to watch the sunrise from the top. It was magnificent. You have made our current trip to Edinburgh so much better through your videos. A great video. I want to tell you, I just got back from England and Scotland (a lifelong dream!) last Friday and I went to some of the places you showed in other videos (Grassmarket, a restaurant there, the hanging spot in the square, Edinburgh Castle) I kept my eyes open for you but didn't see you (not surprising as you were probably at work) but I wanted to tell you how enriched my short visit was to beautiful Edinburgh from watching your videos! My husband and I were communicating back and forth as he watched some of your videos too and we learned about Half Hangit Maggie, etc. Keep up the great work! It made everything feel like I was visiting an old friend when I saw some of the sights of Edinburgh;)

This is a good place to extend my deep gratitude and appreciation for your work and for sharing your obvious love of Edinburgh with the rest of the world. While I was wondering around the Old and New Town areas, I stumbled upon dozens of insanely crowded and popular sights and locations that were recognizable to me because of your video series. The real fun for me was coming across some of your favorite obscure locations and, again, quickly recognizing them. I felt right at home in your lovely city. Thanks, ever thanks.

Ascended Salisbury crags 1st then down and back up a steep path! Got the summit to myself amazing! Was difficult getting pics in the heavy rain! I know it's only a hill but the route I took it was a mini mountain. A fantastic place! Can't wait to visit again maybe doing a couple of loops! Cheers Mark.

Thank you SO much for this video! Walking up Arthur’s Seat is the last thing left on my Edinburgh bucket list and I’ve been wanting to do that for years! But somehow I’ve still not managed to get up there! I finally tried back in Feb. and used the path you used to walk up, but it was so muddy and slippery on that day, so I gave up. I’ll be back in June and will hopefully be able to try again then and, thanks to you and your video, I’ll know the different routes and will see which one is best for me. I’m a “No Sports!” person, so it’ll be a nice challenge and I’ll be so proud of myself when I finally make it to the top. And those views! WOW! 😍

@@ClanBroonford I’m trying to figure out how to get from Edinburgh to Fast (aka False aka Fause) Castle. From what I can see it's pretty isolated on the east coast, just north of St. Abb’s Head Nature Reserve. I’m not a fan of driving, even here in the US where I live; I’ve done it once in the UK (Lincoln, England) and found it extremely stressful because everything is the reverse of what I'm used to. I think I’d be OK as long as I’m not in city traffic. I’m considering taking public transportation to a place outside Edinburgh, such as Musselburgh or North Berwick and driving from there. Thoughts on that? How is the A1 in that area? Is it pretty heavily trafficked or not too bad? Thanks so much!

All the staff are their to assist any customer needing any help, all you have to do is ask for it.When the show finishes it is quite a lot of people leaving and I would ask any wheelchair uses to hold back a bit until the rush eases off.In the 60 odd years of the Tattoo there has never been a show cancelled. Please ensure you are well wrapped up as the esplanade can be quite cold.I have seen Foreign visitors leaving shortly after the show starts as they had not been advised about how cold it can be. We would like to bring some small gifts for people we will be meeting on our travels (both men and women). Since you have visited the States before, are there any particular items you might recommend to bring from here that Scottish people would appreciate (i.e. not available locally)? I feel most things are universally available these days, but there are still some items unique to each place. What treats, etc. do you pack your suitcases with when you travel home from Florida?
