Love this game, thanks for playthrough. FYI, export contracts are only refilled btw rounds and fulfilled contracts are left face up (though I do like reducing the AP that can induce).

Close games are always heartbraking! My favorite type of Haggis, to answer Mike's question, is haggis that someone else is eating, far far away from me. More like gaggis. Thanks for the playthrough! I'd heard of, but never have watched this game played.

Clans of Caledonia is one of my top 3 games! Love it so much ♥️. This game definitely does not get a good amount of buzz for how high it is up the BGG top 100. A lot of that I think is to do with the limited availability of the game... Hopefully they come out with a reprint and expansion at some point so others can see why this game is so amazing (and selfishly so I can get an expansion for this beautiful game)

yeah that's a good point. It is one of those games that feels super underrated despite its high ranking but I think it just may be down to availability. Luckily its on BGA and works great over there so I hope more and more people are finding it!

Just found this game at a board game swap (so lucky!) and I’m watching a few play throughs and have to say, I really like how you two interact with each other. The moment that I really loved was when Nick technically finished his turn and Mike was preparing his turn but Nick wanted to purchase another bread and Mike was totally cool with it. A lot of friends would be hardcore about your turn ending. I’m not saying our group is 100% good on this but we have been trying lately and guess what, we’ve been enjoying our games and times together more. That’s the point right. But to each their own! Cut throat is fun too! Lol

My wife and I love this game. We have put little Velcro circles on all the pieces so that it comes out of the box already set up on the board. The set up was not my favorite for the game. But not it’s not as bad.

His stuff is straight-up boring yawn-fests. Clans of Caledonia? More like Yawns of Yawnedonia. Vanilla Carcassonne is way more fun. Love you.

Great playthrough. Not enough accents in my opinion haha. I love a game that ends with a 1 point spread can be heartbreaking or on the other side so thrilling. Much better than ties. Hate ties. Might have to check out the new kickstarter coming

Nice video, I love this game. Also, I really like your Origins game table finish. Question on the table, is it comfortable to rest your arms like that on those cutout trays? Again awesome video!

The little cut outs are long enough to generally rest your arms without too much trouble but it definitely isn't perfect. Overall we'd probably rather it was just all a flat surface as we never use the cutouts to hold anything

@@TheBrothersMurph I’m sorry I got confused when Nick was taking 1 money when going to the market and then I realized that his Clan Stewart allowed him to do so. I played this game only once and initially was intimidated by it and then once everyone got the flow of the turns it went really quickly. It is such a gem in a relatively small box. I love the fluctuated prices on the market. Great playthrough!
