And the other is unplugging your ethernet cord to build up a bunch of backed up packets then plugging it back in to overload the server with them all at once. It's similar to cheats that people have used in the past in shooters to "lag switch" and get an advantage. Using an outside game exploit is pretty much hacking.

The other day we were actually finding it really hard to get ships to fight us on the burning blade, felt like the server was empty. Then, after an hour without seeing any other ships, a hacker sloop came after us while we were doing a camp. Funnily enough, they were so bad that we were able to defend invis and flying and teleporting hackers all the way to reapers, where we managed to lower, and then sink the hacker sloop.

Yea most hackers are terrible at the game lol, also the reason the server was empty was because the burning blade prevents any world events from spawning so instead of fighting it they just dove to a new server
