29 degrees this morning in southern Michigan. Seen 37 deer 15 bucks. For sure 11 of them were different bucks. Big buck hit a scrape at 10:14 a.m on a field edge yesterday.

4:38 shoo it being PA doesnt matter anymore, you absolutely do not have to settle for a 3 year old on public ground. Ive got two 5year old+ buck on camera on state forest ground in northern Pa. And ive only got 8 cameras out in 1 square mile. One for sure goes over 150, the other is only 110-125 but thanks to previous history on camera i know hes at least 5

Tonight (in Delaware) was about 55 degrees. Had a doe that seemed to be getting hot, come out the timber, immediately a big 4 point with a split beam came in, probably a 2 year old. And a young 8 pt popped out and started sparring, the 4 point made a scrape and came right under me, I passed on him but he’ll be a nice deer in the coming years. Was hoping to see one of the two monsters I have on camera but nope. We got temps in the high 70s and 80s next week ugh. Still gotta hunt tho

I’m in Indiana and last year October 27-November 12th everytime I went to woods it’s action, but this year it’s like a ghost town, I got 2 more 3 day weekends coming up in a row we going to get after it regardless. If the deer ain’t moving I’m on FanDuel losing money on tennis set betting 😂 sometimes winning

Great question: sure seemed fire out of the gate but has slowed a lot. That said we have all our cans in Early season spots and not on a scrape or anything where they should be. I think we will find out Nov 7th or so when we hunt

Guys have to disagree with your ideas on the rut. Bring in some deer farmers. Pen raised deer like the guy who makes deer calm. We see suck a different rut state to state not mentioning county to county. Pecking order maturity of the animals your accessing dictates the degree of rutting behavior you will see. Most of what deer do is at night feeding and breeding.
