I just started a tack organization project two days ago so this is perfect timing. I love that saddle pad rack idea 😁 Thank you Lisa!

I absolutely LOVE your tack room! 😍

Thank you! It has been a lot of trial and error to get it to this point. It can be challenging having both the feed room, and the tack room in one space, but we work with what we have right? So as my habits change, it keeps evolving, and one day it might be perfect!

You gave me a challenge this morning So I cleaned out my front porch where my gear is stored I made two saddle stands out of 5 gal buckets . The bottom is screwed to the wall with big washers to reinforce the screws at about hip height I cut half the lid away and that left me with a secure cubby for odds and ends for each horse The lid rim strengthens the bucket Western saddles fit great Horn end against the wall Someone else suggested the buckets I think I improved on the idea by also using the lids Hoof picks, brushes, leg wraps etc can be stored easily

@@BudgetEquestrian 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I feel you...except it's my car that's the most organized and clean all the time...and I am a stickler when it comes to my car. Not that my home is dirty I clean on the regular.. it's just that this home doesn't belong to my family and I it's a renter so we can't do much in terms of adding things to organize and it's a really old home it was built in 1959....and the last renovation was in 2004 😂😂 oh I almost forgot we got an almost complete bathroom remodel...our tub and tile had to be gutted the tub was cast iron (which they don't make anymore) and our tile was growing black mold....so they gutted it and saw that there was water damage behind the tiles so....in turn so did the floor underneath...so therefore our floors got replaced ahaha there is not much space to place things to organize...I put baskets and such but it's not enough.

@@BudgetEquestrian you could sell some and make some money.. you don't need like 10 bridles.. you need 2 or 3 if you want spare, so you can sell the other ones and so on 😊

i am so green with envy and a arena also, wow
@BudgetEquestrian5 жыл бұрын
We diidn't have the arena, or the barn when we moved in 15 years ago, but we have slowly made affordable improvements. Lots of learning, and lots of trial and error has gotten the horse part of our property to what it is now. It's not perfect, but it works!

Great ideas, thank you! I watched your horse blanket video first and sounded like you had one horse and I was going to ask how you are able to do THAT ?! In this video you say horses, ok, I'm not alone now ... we are plural too lol

If you do the washing station with the bucket to put stuff inside you could add a shelf in the middle of the bucket to add more organisation options :D love all your tips!!
