I'm glad to hear the backstory from someone that knew these famous old time breeders. Rescued a Scott American bulldog from the shelter over a year ago. Best choice I ever made ever.

Couldn't agree more. I appreciate a dog that can breath. My wife wanted to get me a English bulldog AKC when we got married 30yrs ago. I had APBT growing up but just thought those were so adorable. Didn't realize the severity of their health problems. He was such a sweet baby though, he was our baby boy and miss him too this day.

I have a awesome american bulldog x aussie shepard. He is brindle body white face. His dad is aussie sheperd ,his mum is american bulldog.i love this combination. People tell me all the time what a good looking dog he is.

What an amazing story and what a beautiful memory of a dog that live well past the average age especially with an American Bulldog or English bulldog and I'm sure the thoughts went through your mind that why would she just go off and die alone you know you'd want to be there any owner wants to be there to comfort something hey love cuz you're talking to someone that's had Dobermans pitbulls English Bulldogs American bulldogs and I have cremated and I still haven't haven't found a way to part with a Mine a will yell you from experiance she knew she had been loved. And funny thong is i know that I'm a better soul having been blessed with a dog that. Is always loyalty to death.and filled me with if you just look its hard to say that dogs do have some biggest souls

i like you already , after about 5 seconds, i have an old type staffordshire bull terrier, i got her from walsall in the midlands of england , she is just about to turn 11 years old and she is as fit as , fck, her eye sight is deterianting slighly, but she will still do the flirt pole with a vengence she will run with my bike each day 5 mile min, she will also hang from the washing line forever,lol i said i would never have a dog in my bed , guess what? she is a bastard with other dogs , and she could take on an alligator in its own back yard, and win, but we dont let that type of behaviour ,lol , so i can see were you are coming from , as in your first dog , the little pit, i still have my girl now, she is ikc reg and kc reg,, hope this is of interest to you ,

Not many old type staffies about in uk now I'm thinking about getting an American bulldog just cos they the next best thing. Do you know any good old type Stafford breeders??

It's been a year since my staffie got pts and been looking for a good one but staffies in the uk aren't half as good as they were a few years ago. Seems all the best breeders are overseas now. Going to see an AB this weekend it's Scott lines I think.
