Come on - its a 3 game series - who cares what happens in US? The point of the 3rd game when there is a 2-0 lead is to get or prevent the white wash - just like in cricket and plenty of other sports. Plus plenty of people are curious of the outcome if Mitchell plays and other stuff like Fitler restoring his status etc...

Jimmy has a point though, if you're talking about player welfare. Why have a game 3 if the series is over that risks the players in what is essentially is a meaningless game. The series is over, the 3rd game is a dead rubber. The bread and butter of Rugby league in Oz is surely the NRL and the clubs should come first? Why risk the players getting further injured in a game which could really affect the clubs now we're getting the business end of the season? Just a thought...

I'm with you on most things Jimmy, but your insistance that Game 3 is all about money just says you still don't get what underlies Origin. Whitewash is huge and if QLD get up this year, it will be only the 8th time of a Whitewash in Origin History.
