Justin seems like a clever commercial operator who implemented a strong business strategy as CEO. However....the club has a losing culture, is stuck in the bottom 8, revolving door of coaches, ongoing roster problems, while he was CEO. To be fair he was not on the field missing tackles but he was involved in who WT sign as a coach/player. The independent review recommended Justin and the WT board be removed from their positions. After 9 years as CEO it's probably best for the club to get a fresh start

Its not all about winning. Its about connection. I was proud as western suburbs supporter coming last for long periods. Any win was an upset like a grand final win. They were underdogs

Make a good point regarding support for CEO’s around mental health. This is a big problem - it can be even more of a problem when they leave their job as they can become completely isolated.

Say what you want about new Wests Tigers facilities, this guy made an astonishing amount of recruitment and retention mistakes for my club year in year out. How could he not be asked about losing Tedesco, Woods and Moses in one single year on this podcast. About pushing Robbie Farah out of the club then sacking Jason Taylor 4 weeks into the following season, signing injured players on long term contracts. He was just awful.

Thank you for choosing this interview. Very interesting. I will say it plainly. Merge clubs don't work because identity and community connection. Deeply rooted. This is where the NRL or ARL went wrong. This begun because super league and destroyed the sport. The people running the game still want to go down the same path. The best thing they can do is bring back Illawarra, St George, Western suburbs, balmain, north Sydney and playing games at the suburban grounds. And good prices of food, drink at games. The models in place you paying a fortune to attend. Also the amount of rule changes are ruining the sport, amount of match officials. The game should not stop. Unless a serious injury. That's just an opinion. James's you should know coming from England and the soccer clubs there.. wests have been a great development club. Losing star players like James tedesco, Andrew fifita, just to name some. Failure to hang onto our best young players says a lot about the people running the club.

You can't hang one person out to blame. It is a whole bunch of things. It is very frustrating for players, fans, the board, sponsors to try and support something like wests tigers. It's embarrassing. The way the nrl and courts set up the legal agreement for merged clubs are a joke. Especially when you see what happened to the bears on the manly merger. North Sydney oval is a beautiful ground located in North Sydney. I cant understand how the club want to let our player go to manly or employ people from manly who poach lobster traps

Manly represents silvertail people. Rich and surfers. Because that is the kind of people in manly. Western suburbs represents working class people from housing estates and fibro homes, balmain represents people from balmain. People like Wayne Pearce, lawrie nicols. Or Steve roach. The club plays games at ANZ. It is more Parramatta or Canterbury area. So there fans are lost. Home games played away every week

@@mrtjpeno1141 anz is a stone throw from lidcombe compared to a long long way from parramatta or Belmore. Tigers should have more foot print there. Junior tiger clubs are closer to anz then doggies or Parra junior clubs.

When a journo called Pasco before he was even officially offered the role as CEO should've sent alarm bells ringing. There are way too many cancers in that club.
