The Extraterrestrial Highway in Nevada, despite it's remote location, is a unique and adventurous way to pass time during a road trip. Today we make some stops along the way to see what alien artifacts we could dig up.
State Route 375, also known as the Extraterrestrial Highway, runs east and west across the state of Nevada. This is some of the most desolate looking land one can seemingly come across, however, looks can be deceiving.
Located alongside this lonely stretch of road are a number of otherworldly locations related to aircraft and extraterrestrials, including the world famous Area 51. Rumors and mystery abound about this location, but what is it really like? Today we're going to show you!

Great video. Really surprised the the Little Ale Inn doesn't allow filming, as things like KZbin videos are what really helps get the word out and promotes a lot of these roadside attractions.

@@CactusAtlas It just depends who is outside watching you,, if its the owner, they are mad because they got no cut of the Movie, Paul (2011) Although they show the outside of the building. But I can understand being mad at the movie companies, but private bloggers,, who advertise for them,, I don't see that. So they take out on any blogger, who is within reach. They even jump on European filming companies that my partner and I was touring. If you see other videos of the store that is just because the owners weren't there. Its a small UFO world and I know them. Just film from the street...its all BLM land. Sorry you ran into that trouble you are not the first.

What I always find weird is it's desolate, yes BUT there are more desolate places in the US further away from a huge city like Vegas. But the Groom Lake Lakebed is kinda unique for the ultra long runways. Perhaps a similar Topography you will find only in the Black Rock Desert, NV When I was at the Groom Lake Gate in 2013 to set up my Camera for a nice Sunset shot a Blackhawk Helicopter attacked me and I mean attacked, it flew as low as it could. It was crazy.

I first traveled this highway via motorcycle 60 years ago....long before it morphed into the Extraterrestrial Highway. My wife and I stopped here about two years ago....however we were traveling via automobile. Way back, before it became so well known and regimented even camped alongside this road a few times with a traveling buddy...and my pet Gila Monster. Just set up late and left early, as John Law doesn't start patroling until about nine AM.

@@CactusAtlas I have to be honest.....I was just ''pulling your leg a bit"....... Although I have actually seen a couple in the wild....one in CA along that same river where it had no history of being there. My son and a close friend were floating down an isolated river (The Arroyo Seco River in central CA) and were doing a portage around a rough set of rapids, when I saw one waddle through the brush. It had no business being there and I've long wondered if someone turned it loose. I had planned on taking two days to float the river, but it actually took us three long and grueling days to accomplish it. The following year, five of us went back and spent five days repeating the adventure, and for four days, never saw another person....and, the fishing was great. One of the epic adventures of my life. @CactusAtlas
@CactusAtlas Жыл бұрын
Best advice is to visit the Little Al’e Inn and they will explain. It is an unnamed, unmarked dirt road not far from the Ale’Inn. There is another gate miles away, but the one we visited is the more popular and easier to get to imo. Since there are several roads in the area, best to ask. I don’t want to misguide you, but you’ll likely see dust coming from others driving the road.

To my knowledge, there is not an address. You mostly just follow Back Gate Rd from Rachel if I remember correctly. The people at the A Le Inn have been said to provide directions to people but there's also many websites that provide much better directions that we probably could.

If you want access to area 51 you have to give them a card that states that you are a soveriegn citizen of the UNITED STATES and respectfully request access to the tax funded base. If you do this you may be granted access only if you are willing to sign a non discloser agreement. It would be wise to do this before hand and send this request to the pentagon office of internal affairs. You will be asked to verify your status as a U.S. citizen and submit to a background check. If approved you will be granted access. You will not be granted access to S4. It does not exist even though it does. You will be limited as to the access available and you will only see that which is already public knowledge. Things like stealth bombers and stealth fighters. No E.T. areas will be open to you. This is what you can expect from a secret classified base.
