What's the most unbelievable part about Alien / Spacecraft sightings for me is, that almost all of them describe the Aliens / Spacecraft like what we imagine they'd look like. I'd believe a story of an alien sighting more, if they for once didn't describe them as small green / grey humanoids with large heads. Scientifically speaking, there's nothing that indicates that otherworldly life forms would look remotely like ones from earth. In fact, I'd say the chance that they look this human-like is very slim.

Well think about it. Why do we have 5 fingers, 2 hands, 2 feet that is curved, 2 big toes, etc. Why are we built the way we are, is it maybe bc our forms are the optimal forms for living? So maybe it's the optimal form for living on other planets as well, since in order for life to thrive on other planets, it must be similar to ours. Which further supports why we see aliens as humanoid. Idk just a theory

A human's feet and hands would be useless in a thermal vent, but there are bacteria that thrive in them because they are optimised to survive & thrive in that *specific* environment. Humans have hands and feet similar to apes, because we share an ancestor and that ancestor needed to climb trees. A different planet might have completely different conditions that would necessitate a different 'optimal' than humans.

Could also be an intelligent species that evolved here on earth before us and potentially left the planet or went underground In the wake of planetary disaster. We know our planet goes through ice ages and pole shifts, and we know 90% of all species that we know lived on this planet at some point has gone extinct. It’s not far fetched to say another intelligence came before us. The phenomenon could also be from another dimension that we don’t have the biological or technological tools to even know of yet.
