I followed this video step by step and my line type showed up as a dash instead of what I drew. Any ideas on why that might be?

@@archmykl you need to make the text a single line text. This worked for me.

I followed by steps as well but for some reason it's not working for me. I made a 3" line in model space along with 1/8" text height. Before saving the line type, the text becomes annotative therefore I turn it off and again change the height to 1/8" text. After saving the line type, making a line and switching to the new line type it doesn't come out correctly. The line has to be dragged out like 20' in model space and the text is very small.
