Not gonna lie, I'm very surprised this is an archetype debuted in TCG. They are practically SLAPPING us in the face with Susanoo and the Sacred treasure of Japan Kusanagi no Tsurugi; in which the Kusanagi was found by Susanoo in the freshly dead body of Orochi, the Eight-Headed Serpent or Many-Heads Serpent.

the TCG exclusives are cards designed by the OCG, they are just released in the TCG first. if you are interested in a proof, look at this card: "SPYRAL MISSION - Assault" the card is censored in the TCG version of the card. if is was censored then it was not designed by the TCG, it was just released in the TCG first.

Snake rain, offering to the snake deity, King of Feral Imps... reptile has always had potential, but they needed an archetype to fit in.

Its good to see Reptiles getting some love. Being the first wave for a tcg exclusive it is looking pre good so far. Hopefully they get some solid support in the 2nd wave. Solid cards so far and nice artwork as well. I also think this will work with a mini Ragnarika engine.

This archetype is so genuinely cool, especially because the ritual monsters don’t need to be ritual summoned to activate their on summon effects.

snake rain + ogdoadic goes hard with this, another option can be pairing them with libromancer, their field spell is a rather perfect match for mitsurugi if you want to tribute your monsters almost none stop

they are once per turn. only the revive effect of futsu is not once per turn but once per chain
