Hero player chose to go first even after seeing that the opponent played 2 super poly in game 1. It was just a lack of experience with the deck. he should have been prepared to go 2nd instead of trying to get easy wins with dark law + plasma. Then Mind control and instant fusion in game 2 proves that Zombie player was playing a go 2nd build. Choosing to go 2nd would have pushed the duel in the hero player's favor. Assuming you guys all know each other he must have known he has a verta anaconda + that zombie fusion monster gives him the ability to play 3 super poly. So the only explanation i can think of is that the hero player was hoping the zombie player bricked, because everything about the situation screams going first was a bad idea.

zombie world is devastating to heroes if they establish a board. Heroes player needs to draw specific outs if they let zombies go first. This is also not to mention super poly is also a great going 1st card

@@WeMoomingNow The only thing zombie world stops heroes from doing is going into cross crusader a fusion destiny into dystopia milling dynatag could pop it turn 1, aside from that if he was prepared to go second he side deck would have cards like twin twister and evenly match to deal with zombie would. plus zombies turn 1 end board is nothing to brag about. As for super poly he have the opportunity to bait it out... or outright destory it with back row removal before putting anything on the board... plus verta anaconda's effect isn't a quick effect aka can't be use during the opponents turn... Think about how the game works

@@xlegacyzero8878 When I saw the hero player go for ab zero instead of sunrise I was like why? I get the mask change but regardless they could've sat on sunrise and plasma and played around the super poly, since most ppl only run starving venom and the 3 headed predaplant fusion. Tbh heroes going second is overrated in my experience with the deck you have to be able to break these boards and stuff like spyrals is a bit too much to handle and if possible sitting on sunrise plasma first turn forces the opponent to kill sunrise since he protects plasma.

The Nessie summon can't occur in 16:47! Bloom only allows Zombies to be summoned after its effects resolve. And the special summoned monster needs to meet its summoning requirements, before it is affected by Zombie World.

At 20 mins, Zombie player could've chained Banshee to Stratos, which would've let Yuki-Onna chain to negate Stratos effect, and then Balerdroch Chain off Yuki-Onna effect to banish Malicious Bane for an easy board wipe.

How is Bloom still able to activate its effect to SS Balerdroch after Halqifibrax says it can’t? I don’t understand why it going to the GY changes that condition of “but it cannot activate its effects this turn.” Can someone explain this interaction to me?

Because the Crystron link only makes the tuner's effect unable to be activated on the field, but their gy effects can still be activated, I know that doesn't excatly specify that in halquifibrax's effect. But that monster is only treated as Special Summoned by Crystron's effect as long as it is face-up on the field. After it is flipped face-down or leaves the field, it is no longer treated as Special Summoned by Crystron's effect, so it will not be affected by its retrictions.

I swear, since the release of the Zombie Horde SD, it has serious potential to be one of the best rogue decks depending on the meta. With all the last support cards we got and Duel Overload, there's also an incredible strong way to build this deck as a board crushing going 2nd variant. Very happy to see what Secret Slayers and the Eldrich archtype do for us Zombie players :)

Pretty sure it was a misplay in the first game when Malicious Bane was summoned. I think both monsters were banished from the graveyard with Dark Calling. If that's the case, there wasn't a fiend monster to banish to make Bane since Zombie World was on the field and it changes monsters in the graveyard to zombies. Pretty inconsequential but it could have been a big play for Heroes if not for Super Poly.

Cali there was a misplay at the end. Glow-Up Bloom restrict to special summon only zombies but the effect of Anaconda does not resolve because Draconecro is a Dragon type fusion

He didn't use the effect of Glow-Up Bloom, he just discarded it with the effect of Jack-O-Bolan to special summon itself from the hand. So there is no restriction here :)

Tbh, it is. If you think about it, it outs otherwise in breakable boards. It is a little crazy in zombies as you just use anything to summon dragon necro, but in anything else it’s fair. You do have to keep in mind that you need to use valuable extra deck space for targets, and often times you’re only outing 2-3 monsters depending on the target, and most of the time if your opponent knows what their doing, they can come back and maybe win.

Axel Rider77 no Needlefiber states that the monster you summon cannot activate its effects that turn. Also it does not state that is prevents the cards with the same name from activating their effects, it is worded that only the monster summoned to the field (specifically) cannot activate its effects on the field. If that monster goes to the graveyard from the field it counts as a different card because needlefiber does not state all cards with the same name cannot activate their effects that turn.

I just realized... Anima is a bad Going Second Linkuriboh: - Level 1 is required, that's easy to make - ATK Change, but different ways (Linkuriboh changes ATK to 0, Anima pushes from 0 to everything) - Linkuriboh can do something in the Grave, Anima not - Linkuriboh still can do something going second (Attack for 300), Anima nothing going first (0 ATK means easy Damage AND no downpointing Arrow) - Anima easily gets destroyed by HTs, Linkuriboh not except Nibiru

The whole point of relinquished extra deck monsters is to snatch a monster from you opponent. Nothing more. 1k eyes snatch opponents monster and then link into anima to snatch another only if its pointing to a monster.

Dragon Of desteny no. 1 is enough. The deck really doesn’t change at all for master rule 5, except for the fact that you can be more lenient on where you put your fusion monsters, and you can spam more fusions onto the field to otk.
