I used to fish these exact spots. That old crossing by your campsite was always good for Barra and further to telegraph pole and on closer to the mouth on the Neep tides, it makes me wana head back up to the Kimberley’s. Awesome content mate. Living the dream

That camp you went to on the quad is where myself and a couple of mates camped for a week in 2019. We were there on the high tides and I landed a monster saw fish right off the bank👌

Thanks mate, glad you liked our last video. Just quietly, I may have been doing the zoomies haha. No better feeling when you can’t pull them up sometimes too, just the thought of what it is and how big it is… good feeling. Unless I’m hungry and loose them lol.

Nice area and a good solid barra. We tend not to be so sporting when we fish up north. I use a solid glass short rod with a big old Avley reel with 80lb line and a 120lb wire trace. I call it 'the winch' :) It is a lucky fish that gets off that rig.

I miss that spot Dale! I used to guide for WA Barra Charters out of Derbytown and Fitzroy River, guessing you're on Telegraph Station. We used to camp at the island where the braccish water was, natural boat ramp there too! Guaranteed that was a Sawtooth shark bit you off at the end, we used to get big ones in there. Cheers for the memories brotha!
