@@TheCanAmCrew I have a 2022 XRC on 35" Roxzillas and I have a similar bouncing issue like Scott. Next item on my list is new dual rate springs. I hope that makes a difference.
@TheCanAmCrew Жыл бұрын
@@gixxerkid32 we’re like 95% sure it’s the tires. His was never bouncy until going 35s. When his are shot he’s going to 32s. His 33s and 32s he had before never bounced him. I’m sure suspension would help some but with the riding we do and 35s it’s just gonna cost a ton of money in parts, axles, bearings, ball joints etc. we don’t see a huge gain by running 35s that would be worth it.

So I’m no expert but I’d try on Scott’s machine to soften his compression up all the way and add rebound all the way and try it. Just shock adjustment and make sure they actually respond. I have a feeling both of his front shocks are need of a freshen up. I hope I’m wrong. Great video as always and I’m jealous for sure👍👍
@jhoppy80 Жыл бұрын
I agree on the adjustments. Needs to be less preload and tighter rebound settings
@brendenstout3348 Жыл бұрын
I’ve tried a lot of set ups on my Xrs… haven’t loved any of them lol even as stiff as possible it’s too bouncy for my liking. Now I tend to hit stuff harder and no so much of feel it out and crawl so maybe that’s part of it and I just need to suck it up and do springs and valving. On 35s as well. Next year my shocks are going to g force racing and I’m going on 32s for how I like to ride it’s what needs done. I’m sure Scott needs springs at least especially with a cage but at that point I’d send them off it’s not much more cost. I think it would totally change Scott’s attitude towards the 64 vs 72
@brendenstout3348 Жыл бұрын
Side note best setup I’ve found is stiff on both compression and very little rebound
@TheCanAmCrew Жыл бұрын
He’s going 64 when he upgrades. I think suspension is some of it but 35s are the biggest problem. Everyone with 35s says the same thing.

Awesome video!! Love the short steeper crawls on rock. Dude that ripped his door off, you have GOT to give it some throttle while still on the break if you’re on a hill like that. Need to get those wheels turning before letting off the break. That is gonna mess you up bad. Drive with both feet. Get a brake pedal extension to widen it. I love mine. That way you can grab the brake with the left foot while your right foot is still on it. Then transition to the throttle with your right foot.

You might want to tell Scott to check the clutching. He may want to do clutching for the 35'. It probably will change the engagement of the clutches. It may be a lot cheaper than the other changes to the suspension.
