@@PhilipBlank the ebbs and flows of any creative work is tough. I had to really learn to be ok with it since I left my full time job and do this full time. Gotta have grace for the process. 😎

Great advice for the rollers! took me awhile to get the hang of it but once I got my camera figured out, man I got some crazy shots. A few of my favourite shots I've managed to grab at 1/4 Shutter

Hello, I would like to ask you how I set the autofocus on your camera when shooting a video. Thank you for that creation, I found a lot of inspiration in it.👌

17:46 bro the worst place to do car photography is argentina. It is like 1 or 2 spots to find good cars and there is always a lot of people on those spots. And if you would like to survive in car photography at this country, the only way is going to EVERY car show or car meet, it doesnt matter if the best car at the meet is a vw jetta, you have to go bc you will run out of content super early

8:46 this is the EXACT reason people need to not assume always using like 1.8 for the blur effect, cause it’ll make it annoying if even possible to capture multiple subjects in focus in one photo
@dwdesign2873Ай бұрын
When starting out, and not charging for shoots, how did you go about starting to charge? Im worried that if word of mouth spread people may assume ill always be free, and that if i said i was charging, i could potentially lose clients

Sweet video! What lens (if you had to choose one) would you choose for the lumix s9? What was the lens on the video? Thank you!!
@TheCarCreative2 ай бұрын
So tough to pick just one lens right now. That’s the beauty of the Lumix ecosystem though, you can buy several lenses for the price of one canon or Sony lens haha. What kind of shooting do you do?
@MBauer-op6vx2 ай бұрын
mostly cars and family. Thats what I’m seeing, the lenses are SOO much cheaper than the RF lenses for my Canon….

Awesome video, mate. Plus, I'd love to know your opinions about car photos inside games, just like Forza Horizon 5, Gran Turismo, and many others. Thank you! Cheers!
@TheCarCreative2 ай бұрын
Thanks man! I think that photography inside of those games is an incredible way to learn the craft. They have all the same tools that you have in photography! Plus, you can learn, composition, lighting, etc., all inside that game that you can translate into real life when you get the opportunity to shoot cars.

IMHO if you trust your skills don't offer to shoot for free. Your work and time has value, don't dilute the automotive photography industry by doing free shoots
@TheCarCreative2 ай бұрын
I agree with you, but if kids or young adults are starting out, they need to learn essential skills before charging. Of course any competent photographer should charge for their time and skills appropriately, but answering the question of “how to start” I wouldn’t start as a beginner by charging money. I didn’t at least, and now I charge a good sum to do my shoots. Every path is different though, and I do appreciate your perspective. Cheers!

Yeah but you shoot for free if you’re just starting 9/10. Word of mouth goes far longer than you’d think.

Kas made great rigshot with Sony A290, now i have Canon eos rp, also makes great shots. So camera you have is good enough, just make sure, you have proper exposure for certain conditions ❤. If you know basics of composition, this video is just for repeating knowledge. As for me, hobby photographer (@bald.with.camera) i just repeated this basic tips. For those, Who begin with 0 experience - useful information!

RP was nice. I ended up trading mine in when they came out with the R8. Even better. Has the same sensor has the more expensive R6 Mark II
