1:25:38 Mel is right about the hive mind that occurs on the JBP; that's why I really appreciate when one of the guys isn't afraid to stick up for her and say "na she's actually right", while the rest of the room passionately argues the opposite. It's also become an increasingly argument based show; I bet it's not easy to be the only woman in the room while 5 dudes pick apart your argument - so sometimes she doesn't voice her difference of opinion.. Regardless all of the arguments make for a passionate fanbase, and Mel has picked up a bunch of fans from the show
@EvesGonnaEve4 ай бұрын
They pick apart each other's arguments. They all can disagree with 1 of the guys and its no problem but God forbid if they don't all agree with her then it's misogynistic lol smh. That's why I liked the pod better when it was just guys and they didn't have to walk on eggshells. It should be ok to disagree with her. They all talk over each other but again, God forbid she gets cut off and she's a victim. It's annoying. I miss when they could speak freely without having to dance around one person. She chose to come onto an all guy podcast yet they have to cater to her or else they'll get accused of being misogynistic and it's annoying.

@@Jae_Denee I like her too but I feel like she was being so dishonest. Toccara. Buffie the Body. 🤔 Is there a pattern here? And, I am always leery of the person who screams that someone is jealous of them.

@@chiboyshades7817 exactly! Girl we know you was the gwwwworl back in the day. Toccara was very respectful when she spoke of her and she didn’t say anything negative that warranted Melissa’s response.

She's the poster child for women on bumble that's attractive middle aged, but still delusional and condescending 😂😂

I love to see how she's evolved and growed into who she is. We all were young at one time and most of us had fun in those younger years. She's a smart and beautiful woman. Keep shining girl. Many blessings to her. 🙏🏾😊

I don’t understand being mad at taccara I don’t think she said anything incriminating. She didn’t blame Melissa for anything. Why all the smoke. It’s getting petty. And I believe taccara said that she didn’t know she was dating Drake either. Soooooo what’s the big deal.

They both didn't know and they spoke about before, but now tocarra is putting like Melissa was being sneaking and she didn't like it 🤷♀️

And you can tell Toccara felt a certain way about the situation as she was talking. She was throwing lil shots

They actually discussed this on melyssa’s old podcast. I think melyssa just doesnt like the tone and context in which is was brought up again

@@jeniciaw I’ve heard it all from the beginning even when they talked about it on Melissa’s old podcast. And I’m saying that I don’t think that tocarra said it in that way at all. I think she was sharing from her perspective and she said that no one knew she was dating Drake and she didn’t know Melissa was dating Drake and she just sho happened to be getting ready for a date when she came over to gush. Maybe she wasn’t aware of that detail previously ok whatever but I don’t think tocarra was trying to downplay her or throw salt on her

@@janeli4616 I think she should direct that smoke to Carlos bc he brought it up being messy. And tocarra acknowledged that they had already talked about that on Melissa’s podcast. Furthermore, I feel like tocarra looked very uncomfortable when Melissa brought it up on her podcast so I don’t think anything is different from then

I am glad she brought off perimenopause. There is so much shame around perimenopause and menopause.

I don't understand what the shame is. It is a part of life.

I do understand it's not talked about enough. I thought something was seriously wrong with me, but I going through perimenopause. It's rough. I wish more women would speak about it. I learn from watching doctors on KZbin and doing my research.

Thankfully Gen X women are having the open convo about it and actively looking for solutions. We don’t have to suffer ,like our mothers and grandmothers did.

Never heard that. There is nothing to be ashamed of. It's a part of life and without the Women's reproductive cycle, no one can be born. Everyone should respect the entire life cycle and support their loved ones through it.

Ive always liked Melyssa! She is smart, articulate, professional, full of integrity, has a great personality, has great work ethic, self respect, self esteem and didn't sleep her way to the top. She's ALWAYS pushed education. Nothing but respect to this woman. In a world where all these hip hop women and wannabe ig models wanna look the same, talk the same, dress the same and talk ebonics, slave talk or stick talk, dont value having a vocabulary and dont even remotely try to spell and be grammatically correct, I appreciate where this woman has took the culture. She made intelligence look sexy.
