Just as charming as the Christmas-time trip to France. Hans seems to enjoy these trips as much as you do! Such a lovely part of the world. I’d love to visit Scotland. It’s a bit longer drive from my home in California. Thanks for the teaser.

Nice to see Loch Ness Shores site again. We stayed there a couple of years ago when we hired a motorhome to tour Scotland. Did the same walk up to the falls and stopped for lunch in the cafe at the top.
@TheCarpentersDaughterUK6 жыл бұрын
Cool +Paul Rose :) I was impressed to find a campsite with private access to Loch Ness and one that's luxurious! We've often a lot of bad campsites but drawn to them for good access to the beach etc. We probably would have popped in to the cafe if we hadn't took a packed lunch with us 😄

Looks like you all had a good time, even though the wintery weather was still with you but a holiday is what you make it and Hans seemed to enjoy it too. Lol... seems odd to see you getting close to my neck of the woods when you went to North and South Shields.... Im about 35 miles south of there. Thanks for sharing your winter holiday and I am looking forward to your forthcoming projects and videos, take care :)

Thanks +Dave Scott 😊 I was rather intrigued by North & South Shields as I have a lot of ancestry from there. Sadly the houses I looked for had been knocked down :(

Just about to start converting a vw transporter, how do you get on with the 2 seater rock and roll bed ? What's it like with 2 adults in it? Would you recommend one or would you go full size? I like the lay out of the 2 seats and cupboards, but think the full size bed has its benefits
@TheCarpentersDaughterUK6 жыл бұрын
The bed is very comfy, but as a sofa, not as much. Width wise, we were always worried there wouldn't be enough space but there is :)
@raccoonradar6 жыл бұрын
The Carpenter's Daughter it was the width I was worried about, not to worried about seating, just the sleeping part, nothing worse than a bad night sleep, thanks for the reply
