I'm sorry Carpetbagger but you were obviously bored there. I don't think you knew what you were getting into. They want you to be a part of the world. You need to explore to discover the ongoing story. They have new stories every season. You should interact with the actors, complete quests and learn the lore. I'll admit this isn't for everyone. But, if you play rpgs and go to Renaissance festivals chances are you'll love this. They do want to expand the park and have good plans for it. But, if I'm being honest I really don't know if they will last. I just don't see them making a profit. Partly because of the niche market and partly because of its location. But, it is an amazing idea if they can find some way to keep a consistent profit from it. Dont get me wrong I do appreciate you going there and showing us around. I would suggest going again with a character in mind and immerse yourself as your character into the world they created. Just my two cents worth (twenty dollars due to inflation). Once again thanks for going. It is appreciated.

concept is there but it requires a little work - they should probably decide whether they want to go medieval fantasy or civil era fantasy - or do what Disney did and have different areas devoted to each.. take some tips from Efteling (I know not comparable due to budget restraints but still.. even Walt took inspiration from Efteling in how to make a fantasy-themed park). Also noticed they didn't promote much in way of social distancing and masks, which could be solved easily - for example they could have kings and queens who interact with guests (and thus explain why you'd keep a distance "in-universe") - have knights and whatnot who wear masks (if they went for civil era have cowboys wear bandanas).. plenty of ways to make use of masks and distancing while also keeping it fun.
