It looks like they did a really good job on the renovation. I loved the previous Ripley's in Gatlinburg, but it needed a little TLC and attention. After the fires I think it's a wonderful sentiment that they choose to reinvest in the city! Thanks, as always, my friend for sharing!

Glad to see a recovery down there, I married my Middle School Sweetheart there. My heart was broken when the fires went rampant. Our honeymoon cabin in Sevierville was torched the following year. Good show, we will have to go back now. Was not that the famous "torso man" who was in Brownings "Freaks"? Thanks for the sights!

Synchronous fireflies can also be found in Tionesta, Pa. These lightening bugs were confirmed by biologists from the Smoky Mountains in 2012. I have seen the Smoky Mountains fireflies but not our lightening bugs in Pa.

Ripley’s is definitely an unusual place to visit. Been to the one here in Orlando. One day I will make it up to Gatlinburg to go to that one too.

Mustang Cindy didn't know they had one in Orlando. I've been to the one in St.Augustine several times as I have live there on and off for many years and I lived for about a year in Knoxville Tennessee which is right next door. I just never made it there. People always tend to go and is do something out of town rather then in town b/c they can go there anytime but never do.
