Welcome! This is the largest Children's Museum in the whole world! My sister lives a couple of blocks away from here. This is 1 of my favorite places ever & have been visiting since I was born (1988). I was watching your Omega Mart vlog a moment ago. That place reminded me of The Children's Museum. I'm so happy you visited it. Everyone must go here. It's maaaagical! The Indianapolis Museum of Art is also incredibly lovely. I wouldn't recommend recording there though. It's more of a traditional, quiet walk around & take in the work kind of place. 💙

Seems to me in this day and age they could make replicas of all the mummies and then give the actual mummies proper burials.

That moment you know you're old enough to know that an iPod is now in the museum. God damn it man. I remember I went through so many iPods in my teens 2 got water damaged and one got stolen to this day. I'm like god damn kids have it easy I just love the fact that the train section uses the lights effects. It makes me think a back to the future part 3

I too spent my childhood in Indiana. And my teachers always told me the term "hoosier" came from the settlers in Indiana saying "who's here?" when they answered the door. But it sounded like the word hoosier because of their dialect. Probably a myth but I always found that funny

Benjamin Harrison didn't really do anything memorable as President. He's most notable as the president sandwiched between Grover Cleveland's two non consecutive terms. He did admit more states (6) to the union during his one term than any other President in history though. Ellis Island was also designated as an official entry point for new immigrants during his term

A lot has obviously changed since then(I'm 46 years old after all), but I remember the Train and the Carousel. And of course the dinosaurs. I would love to go back and see the toys from the 80's and 90's. I actually had that Donkey Kong plush when I was little! Cool to see it again. Always fun to watch where you go, Jacob. I always pray for safe travels for you and the other KZbinrs I follow. Keep up the great work.

I think replicas in museums are best, especially because sooooo many artifacts and mummies are stolen and sold around. Cool replicas are easier than ever with 3D printing, and then real artifacts can still be donated by the proper people as well

Robbie the Robot definitely is from the 1956 SF classic "The Forbidden Planet". He did have a long movie and TV career afterwards, being recycled for the original Twilight Zone, Ark II, and more. He's also closely related to Lost in Space's B-9 (The Robot) since Robert Kinoshita helped design and build both of them.
