My wife would LOVE that goddamned Cannibal museum. She's a bit of a psychotic and is kind of... obsessed with cannibalism, psychosis, horror, true crime, gruesome stuff, etc.. I can just imagine me staring at her in abject horror as she gleefully plays with some of those interactive exhibits. The only thing that would make this place absolutely perfect for her would be if there was a "Serial Killer" museum next door. Yeah. This is what I'm married to.

Wow how do you sleep at night.
@BlackburnBigdragon6 жыл бұрын
@@babecat2000 I'm used to it. Haha! You should see the gift exchange at Christmas. It's a running gag between her brother and her that they keep re-gifting each other this same book about Jim Jones and Jonestown over and over again by hiding it in one of their gifts. It's tradition for them and they've been doing that to each other since they were teenagers. They also have this strange outdoor survival book that's a tradition that they read every year by this weird author that they found in their dad's collection from the 60's. It starts out like this really nice book about camping, and identifying different plants, how to cook meals while in the woods and such. But then.. when you get maybe three quarters through the book, the writer had a schizophrenic episode and started going off about how the government was coming for everyone, and the world was ending and how everyone needs to build bunkers and it just goes into complete insanity. It's one of those cheaply produced "manuals" that my wife's dad picked up from some hunting store in very rural Maine when he was living up there. So. Yeah.. I'm very used to stuff like this.

The things in the Egyptian section you kept calling mummies were actually the wooden sarcophagi, the wooden inner coffins which held the mummies. There were usually several layers, beginning with a massive stone outer sarcophagus, then a decorative wooden inner sarcophagus, then perhaps a plain wooden sarcophagus, and then the mummy. Like Russian nesting dolls. Lol. I can't remember what each layer was actually called, but mummies were the human bodies wrapped in linen, found in the center of the sarcophagus...not the sarcophagus, itself. I love your videos, though. 😊
