Yes, that is how I remember it. Busy, busy days and peaceful evenings after the kiddo’s are retired for the night. Would not trade it for the world. Good memories. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁🎅🏻⛸🩰🔔✝️🧸☕️🍮. My go to is masala tea. Actually crave it in the morning or on a rainy afternoon or evening. Yum. Still getting things decorated. Making a couple of wreaths now. Need to wrap some presents. Just received about about 8 inches of snow here yesterday. Other parts of Pa have much more. My son in Maryland says mostly rainy slush. I spent last Christmas in Ocean City, Maryland. Had a few cold days but nothing like up here in Pa. Thats funny its not that far apart. But where I stayed right on the edge of ocean was so interesting. Had a few tropical storms, the noreaster was rather scary. Wind and rain going round and round the little cottage I was staying in. And looking out on the grey and roiling ocean. But it had its own beauty though. My whole life in southwestern Pa, so used to frigid. I bet it gets mighty cold there where your family is too.

I saw that caffeinated Kitty! lol... I don't want to know what my cat does when I am not looking! I love your cats. Your morning routine was full of life and reality... the way mine used to be. It feels as if I do most of my living within my head any more... Can't explain really... I fold clothes, too, but you look better doing it for sure! lol ---- Oh, that Christmas Carol. I used to teach that and often had my students choose a scene to script and act out. They usually figured out a way to stand on my big teacher desk and be Ebeneezer in his window talking to the street boy on Christmas morning! I had a beautiful Charles Dickens flow blue plate, but it was stolen in a total vandalism/theft thing a couple years ago. Thanks for sharing!

Do you have to keep a portfolio of work for each subject for each school aged child in your state and have someone review it each year? I used to have to do that with my kids in the state of Maryland when they were homeschooled. I was wondering if the Christmas carol booklet was one of the things u will show? Just curious how your state does it. Its neat putting the portfolios together to showcase the work your kids have completed through out the year.
